Radko Gudas (illness) took part in a very optional skate on Tuesday.

Gudas was one of just two players on the ice. He might be available Tuesday night, but nothing has been confirmed yet. If Gudas does play, then Mark Barberio might serve as a healthy scratch.
Dec 16 - 12:07 PM

Radko Gudas (illness) is out Monday but might be back on Tuesday.

Gudas missed Saturday's contest due to the illness and will remain sidelined Monday night versus the Penguins. If Gudas can play Tuesday versus the Flyers then Mark Barberio will likely be listed as a healthy scratch.
Dec 15 - 1:35 PM

The Tampa Bay Lightning will be without defenseman Radko Gudas for Saturday's game against the Washington Capitals.

The Lightning label it a stomach virus. Gudas can be a hit and PIM machine with respectable enough offensive numbers to be worth having as a depth fantasy defenseman, so many would be wise to tweak their lineups with him out tonight.
Dec 13 - 6:38 PM

Radko Gudas scored his second goal of 2014-15 in Thursday's 5-0 win over Buffalo.

He got the game winner early in the first period. It's amazing that the Lightning and Sabres combined for 106 penalty minutes in the third and Gudas finished the match with zero minutes in the sin bin. He was credited with six shots and five blocks, though.
Dec 5 - 9:50 AM

Radko Gudas was sporting a visor on Monday night.

He had been wearing a full face shield for two weeks, which was necessary after a fight with Washington's Tom Wilson on Nov. 1. Gudas was credited with four hits and a plus-2 rating in 15:16 of ice time versus the Rangers.
Nov 18 - 9:51 AM

Radko Gudas (lower body) returned to action on Friday.

The defenseman had a typical Radko Gudas game as he got into a fight, took a couple of minors and blocked four shots. He also had three hits and a couple of shots on goal with a minus-one rating. Put him back in your lineup if you need penalty minutes.
Oct 25 - 1:56 AM

Radko Gudas may be able to return from his lower-body injury as early as Friday's game against Winnipeg.

Coach Jon Cooper said Thursday that Gudas is very close to returning to the lineup. Gudas has missed the past four games due to the ailment.
Oct 23 - 3:11 PM

Radko Gudas (lower body) didn't skate Monday and he sat out his third consecutive game.

He was able to ride the stationary bike, but isn't expected to play Tuesday night in Calgary either. Coach Jon Cooper expects Gudas to play at some point during Tampa Bay's road trip.
Oct 21 - 10:31 AM

Oct 15 - 10:43 AM

Radko Gudas got off with a warning for elbowing Scottie Upshall in the jaw.

The league felt that Upshall assumed a posture that made the contact to his head unavoidable and that's why Gudas didn't receive supplemental discipline. Gudas chips in a bit offensively, but he's mostly known in fantasy circles as a guy that averages more than two penalty minutes per game.

Radko Gudas may hear from the league after his elbow caught Florida's Scottie Upshall in the jaw in Thursday's contest.

"The ref obviously said he didn't see it," said Upshall. Gudas was credited with four hits in the match, but one of them could end up costing him some game action and some cash.
Oct 10 - 10:22 AM

Radko Gudas has sustained a lower-body injury.

Gudas will not be available on Tuesday as a result. Tampa Bay is down 3-0 in its first round series to Montreal, so if the Lightning don't win this game, then Gudas will have all summer to recover.
Apr 22 - 6:40 PM

Radko Gudas received a match penalty on Saturday for a hit on Dallas agitator Antoine Roussel, but he won't face disciplinary action.

It wasn't stated if the league planned to rescind the penalty. Gudas has 21 points and is tied for fifth in the league with 152 minutes in the sin bin.
