Jerry D'Amigo is anxious to build off the success he enjoyed last season.

"I've got to stay high and keep that same level of play [that] I had," he said. "And to do that, I've got to put my expectations higher; I've got to want to be Dallas's first guy [that] he puts on the ice, first guy that comes to mind to go on the ice against their top line ... just to know that he can count on me in every situation." D'Amigo registered 41 points in 76 games last year and he added 13 points in 17 playoff contests.
