Michael Bournival has proved to be a useful energy player for the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Bournival spent some time with the Montreal Canadiens over the last couple of seasons, but concussions derailed his career. This season, he spent the beginning of the year in the AHL, but has now suited up in seven games for the Bolts. He's averaged just under 10 minutes of ice time per game and has racked up one goal in seven contests. Bournival isn't on the fantasy radar, but his journey back to the NHL is a nice story.

Michael Bournival got to play in his first NHL game Thursday night since Feb. 28, 2015.

He skated in just 20 games with St. John's last season and missed most of the year because of a concussion. "I'm very proud of what I did to get back in the NHL," Bournival said. "Now I've got an opportunity to prove myself."
