Lance Bouma was back in the Calgary lineup against the Stars Saturday afternoon.

He had been out of action since March 4th with an upper-body injury but has seemingly recovered. As Bouma recieved only 7:19 of ice time against Dallas, he obviously has no fantasy value.

Bouma was injured on March 4 when the Stars' Sheldon Souray slammed him into the boards. He has no fantasy value with only a goal and three points in 23 NHL games this season, to go with a minus-four rating and nine penalty minutes.

Lance Bouma left Sunday's game in the second period with an undisclosed injury.

He was checked hard into the end boards by the Stars' Sheldon Souray and sustained the injury. Consider Bouma day-to-day for now.

Lance Bouma (foot) returned to action on Tuesday January 31.

Bouma didn't play on Jan. 24th after being struck in the foot by a slap shot during the Oilers' game on Jan. 21st. He logged 10:48 minutes in his return.

Bouma sustained the ailment when he was struck in the foot by a slap shot during Saturday's contest. He also missed Monday's practice. The good news for Bouma is that the Flames aren't scheduled to play again until January 31st.

Lance Bouma, after having a slapper rung off his foot in Edmonton Saturday night, did not practice Monday and will not be in the Calgary Flames' lineup tonight.

This almost certainly will mean that veteran left winger Alex Tanguay will return to the lineup after missing 15 games with neck problems.

Lance Bouma scored the first NHL goal of his career on Saturday.

It was Bouma's first game of the season as he was recalled earlier in the day to replace the injured Brendan Morrison. "It was an unbelievable feeling," Bouma said. "I think it’s any kid’s dream to score in the NHL. I was pretty excited when I saw it go in . . . relieved because I had a few games last year where I could have scored but didn’t." Congratulations to Mr. Bouma who is known more for his tenacity than hands as he had six points and 53 penalty minutes in 31 AHL games this season.

The Calgary Flames have sent Lance Bouma down to Abbotsford of the AHL.

The Flames are out of the playoffs so Bouma was returned to the minors to help the Heat attempt to make the post-season. He has a good chance to crack the Flames lineup next season as a bottom six forward but with little fantasy value.

Bouma has been recalled plenty this season, never truly making an impact. He has one assist in five NHL games this season.

Lance Bouma has been sent to the AHL Abbotsford Heat.

Bouma was told that the Flames simply want him to be in a situation where he'll get plenty of playing time. He was a healthy scratch on Wednesday.

Just an FYI as both players have no fantasy value. They will have a tough time cracking the Flames lineup with Calgary on a big hot streak that have vaulted them into a playoff position.

Lance Bouma recorded his first career point in Monday's 3-1 win over Chicago.

It was Bouma's second career NHL game. "The first game at the beginning I was a little nervous, kind of watching things a little bit but (Monday) felt a lot better," he said. "I felt a lot more confident with the puck, realized I had a lot more time than I thought and felt it went good." Bouma had 19 points and 49 penalty minutes in 49 AHL games before being called up. He played on a line with Mikael Backlund and Tom Kostopoulos Monday.
