"Mike's not that type of player, and you're watching it. To me it looks like a slew-foot. Very dangerous play. Based on the Rangers' past talks with key RFAs, chances are GM Glen Sather would likely to sign McDonagh to a multi-year contract that keeps the defenseman at a reasonable cost and eats up some of his UFA years.
