Jordan Nolan is out indefinitely after undergoing surgery for a herniated disc.

This is the second time in his young career that Nolan has undergone herniated disc surgery, the previous time being in January 2013. That surgery kept him on the shelf for three months so it appears his season could be over with if the recovery time is similar. He had only five assists in 52 games so he has no fantasy value.

The LA Kings have placed Jordan Nolan on IR.

Nolan is still suffering from an undisclosed injury, though it's suspected to be of the upper body variety. Either way, he last played on Feb. 18th, so this move is retroactive to then.

Jordan Nolan (undisclosed), Kevin Gravel, and Michael Mersch will each be scratched from Thursday's match with Edmonton.

Of the three only only Nolan has produced a bit of value this season, though he'll be out with an undisclosed injury. Nolan has posted 38 PIMs and 78 hits in 52 games this season.

Jordan Nolan and Kevin Gravel will be scratched against the Flames on Tuesday.

Through 38 games this season Nolan has posted five points, 38 PIMs, and 78 hits in 52 games this season, the second generation NHL'er Nolan has limited fantasy value.

Jordan Nolan is considered day-to-day with an undisclosed injury and is not expected to play Saturday against Nashville.

With five points, 38 PIMs, and 78 hits in 52 games this season, the second generation NHL'er Nolan has limited fantasy value. We'll keep you posted on his status as it develops.
Feb 20 - 6:39 PM

Jordan Nolan and Jamie McBain will both be scratched against the Coyotes on Saturday night.

While McBain has barely made an impact on the stat sheet, Nolan has treated loyalists to 34 PIMs and 65 hits through 43 games this season. Not bad on a per-game basis, but not enough to warrant much fantasy consideration.
Jan 23 - 9:00 PM

Jordan Nolan has an assist in 13 games this season.

Nolan now has 207 NHL games under his belt and he's recorded just 30 points. He does average around a penalty minute per game, but that's not enough to justify owning him in standard leagues given his near complete lack of offensive output.

Jordan Nolan (ankle) could play as early as Sunday.

Nolan only needs to get medical clearance. It was not a high ankle injury that Nolan suffered early in training camp as that would have kept him out of the lineup for about six weeks. "If I can play Sunday, I’ll play Sunday," Nolan said. "If I can’t, then hopefully Tuesday. Definitely one of the next two preseason games." Nolan had six goals and nine points last season so do not draft him in fantasy pools unless he is a close friend or relative.

Jordan Nolan (ankle) is close to being available, according to Kings coach Darryl Sutter.

"Basically, when he turned his ankle, you knew he was good the first five days of camp based on that timeline where he progressed from when he first did it – he wouldn't be available for the first five days – and that's pretty much how it's been," Sutter said. In other words, Nolan should have a fair amount of time to prepare for the season opener despite his ankle issue.

Jordan Nolan is recovering from a ankle injury he sustained over the summer.

Nolan was limited to skating with the extra players during the first day of training camp as a result. That being said, he's projected to take part in training activities in a few days.

Jordan Nolan tallied the Kings' only goal during their 3-1 loss to the Flames on Thursday night.

Nolan simply stepped into a rebound created by Alec Martinez, and ripped it past Jonas Hiller for his first goal in four games. The marker tied Nolan's career high in goals of six (set last season), and gives him nine points on the year.

Jordan Nolan has inked a three-year, $2.85 million contract extension with the Los Angeles Kings.

Nolan was scheduled to become a restricted free agent this summer. He has four goals and 27 penalty minutes in 36 contests in 2014-15. He'll continue to serve as a bottom-six forward and is unlikely to develop into a player that will be owned in many standard fantasy leagues.

Jordan Nolan found the back of the net in a 5-3 victory over Calgary Thursday night.

Nolan has three goals and no assists in 32 contests in 2014-15. He's not expected to do much better offensively going forward.

Jordan Nolan was the only Kings player to find the scoresheet in their 3-1 loss to Boston on Saturday night.

The Kings end January with just three wins. While it’s nice for Nolan that he scored his second goal of the season, the Kings need more from the majority of their roster or else they will be golfing come playoff time. Drew Doughty and Jake Muzzin recorded the helpers.
