Jean-Francois Berube stopped 40 of 43 shots in Tuesday's 5-3 win over the Minnesota Wild.

This was the first NHL win of Berube's career in his second start. The 24-year-old has a 1-1-0 record with a 3.50 goals-against-average and a .909 save percentage this season. Berube has spent most of the season as a healthy scratch behind Jaroslav Halak and Thomas Greiss. Don't expect him to have any fantasy value going forward.
Feb 2 - 10:56 PM

Jean-Francois Berube will be between the pipes for the Islanders on Tuesday night against Minnesota.

He has been playing well in Bridgeport and got to see action over the NHL All-Star break, so coach Jack Capuano will give him the nod. Berube has posted four wins, a .960 save percentage and a 1.25 GAA in five AHL appearances.

Jean-Francois Berube has been called up by the Islanders.

His conditioning stint is over so it's expected that he could be with team until the trade deadline. The Isles may try to slip Berube through waivers at that time to get him into the minors.

Jean-Francois Berube is a healthy scratch in Monday's game against Detroit.

The New York Islanders have recalled goaltender Jean-Francois Berube and placed him on the injured reserve list with a lower body injury.

Berube was sent to the minors on a conditioning stint Tuesday and was suddenly recalled today. Consider him day-to-day for now. He is the Islanders third goalie at this time so he has no fantasy value.

Jean-Francois Berube has been sent to AHL Bridgeport on a conditioning assignment.

Berube hasn't seen NHL ice since Oct. 10th when he made 30 of 34 stops in a loss to the Flyers, and considering that Thomas Greiss has played in the other 10 non-Jaroslav Halak games, it's about time Berube be returned and given some action. Not that he minded the extra digit or so in his per diem with the Isles.

Jean-Francois Berube gave up four goals in his first career NHL start, a 4-1 loss to the Blackhawks on Saturday night.

The 24-year-old was getting the start with Jaroslav Halak sidelined and Thomas Greiss having started the night before. He was just claimed off waivers from the Kings earlier in the week. It’s unlikely he’ll get enough time with the big club to even warrant consideration. Berube had a 2.18 GAA and .913 SV% last season.

Berube was claimed off of waivers from the Kings earlier this week. He had a great season last year for Manchester of the AHL posting a 2.18GAA and a .913SV%. If he plays well, he could hold some fantasy value until Jaroslav Halak returns from injury.

The 23-year-old has never played in an NHL game. Berube is being recalled because Martin Jones missed the team's morning skate with an illness. The young goaltender won't have any fantasy value because he will be serving as Jonathan Quick's backup.
