Brayden McNabb found the back of the net in Saturday's 4-2 loss to Winnipeg during Game 1 of the Western Conference Final.

May 13 - 10:34 AM

Brayden McNabb was scoreless in Sunday's Game 6 at San Jose but he did post a plus-3 rating with five blocked shots, a minor penalty and four hits.

The Golden Knights were tossing their weight around in this game, posting a total of 38 hits in their series-clinching victory against the Sharks. McNabb did a great job in his 23:14 of ice time and he is an outstanding fantasy option in postseason pools and DFS formats rewarding blocked shots and/or hits.
May 6 - 10:29 PM

Brayden McNabb scored the only goal in Vegas' 1-0 victory over Los Angeles in Game 4 Tuesday night.

It adds a little extra to the story that it's McNabb that ultimately ended the Kings' season. Los Angeles exposed McNabb in the expansion draft and Vegas decided to take him. McNabb had a small role with the Kings in 2016-17, appearing in just 49 games and averaging 15:04 minutes when he did, but he averaged 20:09 minutes per game in the 2017-18 regular season with the Golden Knights. His role was even bigger in the first round of the playoffs beyond just the goal, though that still will naturally be the most memorable part of it. "It feels good for sure," McNabb said. "Definitely nice to beat your old team." Reilly Smith and William Karlsson each registered an assist on Wednesday.
Apr 18 - 5:45 AM

Brayden McNabb scored the Golden Knights' lone goal in Sunday's loss to the Flyers.

McNabb's fourth goal of the season brings him to 12 points in 49 games so far. The 27-year-old is 12 points away from setting his career high in points.
Feb 11 - 10:54 PM

Brayden McNabb (upper body) will play in Friday's game against the Minnesota Wild.

McNabb has missed the last three games because of the injury. He has two goals and eight assists in 44 games this season. McNabb shouldn't pop up on your fantasy radar.
Feb 2 - 7:29 PM

Brayden McNabb won't play in Thursday's game against the Winnipeg Jets.

McNabb has missed the last two games with an upper-body injury, but he has been cleared medically to return. It was expected he would sit, as he is slated to skate with the team some more before he plays. McNabb has two goals and eight assists in 44 games this season.
Feb 1 - 7:51 PM

Brayden McNabb (upper body) has been cleared to return to action, but he may not play Thursday against Winnipeg.

"He's a game-time decision," coach Gerard Gallant said Wednesday. "The good news is he's been cleared to play, but he hasn't skated with the team for a few days, so we'll see how it goes." If McNabb doesn't play Thursday then he'll probably be back in the fold on Friday versus Minnesota.
Feb 1 - 11:29 AM

Brayden McNabb (undisclosed) won't play Tuesday night.

Coach Gerard Gallant believes that McNabb will be ready to return at some point during Vegas' road trip. However, he isn't sure when that will come.
Jan 30 - 2:44 PM

Brayden McNabb has an unspecified injury.

McNabb is regarded as day-to-day, per Golden Knights coach Gerard Gallant. McNabb has 10 points and 40 penalty minutes in 44 games this season. While those statistics might not stick out, he has been important to Vegas given that he's getting an average of 19:58 minutes of ice time per game.
Jan 24 - 5:19 PM

Brayden McNabb was scoreless with a plus-1 rating in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout against the Ducks, but he was able to post four blocked shots and two hits.

McNabb leads the team with 59 hits and 54 blocked shots, and he is one of eight NHL players with at least 50 in each category this season. He doesn't offer much on the offensive end, but he's a tremendous option for his physical play in deeper pools.

Brayden McNabb got his first goal of the season on Thursday night in a 4-2 loss to Minnesota.

McNabb agreed to a four-year extension with the Golden Knights on Wednesday and then he celebrated with his first goal as a member of the team. He has three points and a plus-11 rating in 21 games.

Brayden McNabb has inked a four-year, $10 million contract extension with the Vegas Golden Knights.

McNabb could have become an unrestricted free agent this summer as this is the final season of his two-year, $3.4 million deal. While he didn't have much of a role with the Kings in 2016-17, he's been a meaningful part of the expansion team. McNabb has averaged 19:30 minutes per game, though his lack of offensive contributions keeps his fantasy value minimal. Through 20 contests he has two assists and a plus-10 rating.

Vegas Golden Knights head coach Gerard Gallant has announced that Brayden McNabb will return to the lineup tonight.

After starting the opening four games of the season, McNabb was scratched for the last two games. He's known more for his work in his own end rather than in the offensive end. Still no word on who will be sacrificed in the lineup to make room for him.

Brayden McNabb is optimistic about the Vegas Golden Knights' chances in their expansion season.

McNabb was Vegas' choice from Los Angeles in the expansion draft. "I think we’re going to be competitive," McNabb said. "There are a lot of good players we selected and some young guys too. We’ve got great goaltending, so it starts there. So it’ll be fun." Vegas' roster is better than your typical expansion team, but it still doesn't look particularly impressive. Vegas might be able to surprise people, but at the end of the day the Golden Knights shouldn't be projected to compete for a playoff spot in their first season.
