The Buffalo Sabres have acquired Zach Redmond from the Montreal Canadiens for Nicolas Deslauriers.

He'll head straight to the minors. Redmond split last season between Montreal (NHL) and St. John's (AHL). He had five assists in 16 games with the Canadiens in 2016-17. Redmond is currently in the final year of a one-way contract that will pay him $612,500 this season. He has no fantasy value.
