Despite completing his conditioning stint with AHL St. John's, the veteran defender will have to wait a bit longer to make his season debut for Montreal.
Dec 2 - 9:29 PM

Zach Redmond will be a healthy scratch in Tuesday's game against the Anaheim Ducks.

Redmond still hasn't played in a game this season because of a broken foot. Now that he's completed a conditioning stint in the AHL, he should get into the lineup relatively soon. Chris Terry will also watch the game from the press box.

Nov 28 - 4:14 PM

Zach Redmond (broken foot) will play two games in the AHL on a conditioning stint and rejoin the Canadiens in California.

He should be ready to go Friday night against San Jose. If for some reason you need Redmond, get ready to activate him.
Nov 27 - 9:27 AM

Zach Redmond (broken foot) has been sent to AHL St. John's on a conditioning stint.

Redmond appears on track to return to the Candienes around early December if he's already capable of playing in some minor league games. In 114 career NHL games, the 28-year-old has posted just 33 points without much else to his credit.
Nov 26 - 2:15 PM

Montreal has lost Zach Redmond for the next six weeks due to a broken foot.

He suffered the injury at practice on Thursday. Redmond was serving as a healthy scratch before getting hurt and so he has no fantasy value.
Oct 20 - 7:21 PM

Zach Redmond has looked good with the Canadiens at training camp.

Redmond signed a two-year, one-way contract with the Habs this off-season. Many expected him to be an extra defenseman going into the regular season, but his preseason performance might indicate otherwise. The 28-year-old, who isn't know for his offensive production, has chipped in with two goals this preseason. He might prove to be a solid depth player for the Canadiens.
Oct 1 - 10:43 AM

Zach Redmond scored his second goal of the preseason in Thursday's 4-3 OT loss to the Senators.

Redmond isn't known for his offensive production, but he's shown an ability to score this preseason. Although he won't produce much this season, the preseason goals should help him stick in the NHL this season. Brendan Gallagher and Michael McCarron also scored for the Canadiens.
Sep 29 - 10:29 PM

Zach Redmond isn't worried about the uphill climb he will face for ice time in Montreal this season.

He is excited to be a member of the Canadiens and scored a goal in his preseason debut on Monday night in a 3-2 loss to New Jersey. Montreal already has seven defensemen with NHL contracts, so Redmond may not get an opportunity to play unless injuries occur.
Sep 27 - 11:19 AM

The Montreal Canadiens have signed Zach Redmond to a two-year/$1.225 million deal.

The 27-year-old defenseman has been a journeyman throughout his career and will give the Canadiens some extra depth in 2016-17 and the following year. He has no fantasy value.
Jul 1 - 2:24 PM

Zach Redmond picked up his second goal of the season during Saturday's 5-3 loss to Anaheim.

Redmond finishes the season with just six points through 37 games. He sat for several extended stretches, so it does not appear that he factors into Colorado's plans moving forward.
Apr 9 - 10:04 PM

Zach Redmond and Andrew Bodnarchuk will be scratched from Tuesday's match with St. Louis.

Unfortunately, neither defender boast much fantasy value this season. They've combined for just 54 games played with little to show for their efforts.
Mar 29 - 7:53 PM

Zach Redmond and Andrew Bodnarchuk will be healthy scratches in Monday's game against the Nashville Predators.

Redmond has one goal and four points in 33 games this season. As for Bodnarchuk, he has four assists in 37 games in 2015-16. Neither player should be on your fantasy radar. Matt Duchene, Nathan MacKinnon and Eric Gelinas will all miss the game because of injury.

Mar 28 - 8:05 PM

Zach Redmond will be scratched Sunday against Edmonton.

Since Feb. 2nd Redmond has seen just five of his season's 31 games. Unfortunately that about tells you all you need to know about his fantasy viability.
