Justin Faulk wants to get into the playoffs for the first time in his career.
"I haven't made the playoffs," he said. "It's tough to go home knowing you didn't make it, that you fell short. I mean, there's only one team that wins each year but you've got to make the playoffs. It's been three years for me, and I know it's been five years for a few guys here. With most of us coming back, we all have that same goal to get there and see what you can do." Carolina hasn't qualified for the postseason since losing in the Eastern Conference Finals to Pittsburgh in 2009. Faulk inked a six-year extension with the Canes last season and the young blueliner will continue to skate on the team's top defense pairing. Aug 28 - 11:17 AM
