The Minnesota Wild will be without Justine Fontaine due to a leg injury for at least Game Two on Sunday night against Chicago.

Fontaine played just 10 shifts totaling 6:55 without making an impact on the score sheet in Game One on Friday night. Both Fontaine's prognosis and the player who will take Fontaine's spot in the lineup is still unclear, but it'll likely be either Ryan Carter or Sean Bergenheim's turn to fill in on the wing.

His second-period marker chased St. Louis goalie Jake Allen, who allowed two goals on 13 shots, from the crease and gave Minnesota a 2-0 lead. Fontaine has two points in five playoff games this spring.

By no means is Fontaine worthy of a pickup in fantasy leagues, but it’s worth noting he has four of his eight goals and seven of his 22 points over his past six games. Erik Haula also had a goal and an assist, while Jason Pominville recorded the other one.

Justin Fontaine bookended the Wild's 4-0 win over the Oilers on Friday night.

Fontaine's opening tally was a beauty. After giving way to Zach Parise who took the puck from Fontaine in the corner and grinded his way towards Christian Folin at the point, Fontaine floated to the slot and redirected Folin's slapper back against the grain and beyond Ben Scrivens. With the pair he now has seven goals and 18 points in 48 games this season.

Justin Fontaine collected two assists in Saturday's win over Carolina.

Both of Fontaine's assists came off Thomas Vanek goals in the first period. The 27-year-old has four goals and 15 points in 45 games this season. He probably won't have much, if any, fantasy value going forward despite his promotion to the second line.

He had been out of action since Jan. 29 because of a groin injury. Fontaine had one shot in 11:05 of ice time in his return.

Fontaine has missed the last two games due to a groin injury but is now healthy yet he will remain sidelined Monday, this time as a healthy scratch. He’s played in 42 games in the 2014-2015 season, scoring four goals and nine assists. Folin will sit for a fifth consecutive game and has just a goal and five assists in 29 games played on the year.
