The Canadiens have recalled Victor Bartley from the AHL.

Bartley was acquired in a series of trades on Friday and will get the chance to suit up against the Blues. He is not really a fantasy asset but could get a bit of a run as the Habs' 6th or 7th defenseman.

The Arizona Coyotes acquired Victor Bartley from the Nashville Predators and immediately traded him to Montreal.

Bartley was packaged with John Scott while the Habs are sending Jarred Tinordi and Stefan Fournier to the Arizona Coyotes. Bartley has an assist and 10 penalty minutes in 14 AHL contests in 2015-16.

Victor Bartley has been assigned to the AHL after clearing waivers.

He has played in just one game with the Predators this season after skating in 37 last year. Bartley has been serving as an extra defender, but he lost that spot to Anthony Bitetto in 2015-16.

The Nashville Predators have waived Victor Bartley.

Should Bartley go unclaimed, expect him to be assigned to AHL Milwaukee. The 27-year-old defender has played just once this season, and 112 times overall since debuting during the 2012-13 season. If you still had him on your watch list, here's your sign to mark him off.

Victor Bartley and Anthony Bitetto will be scratched against the Blues on Saturday.

Both Bartley and Bitetto have seen just a single game this season. Y'know, it's difficult to accumulate value from the stands.

Victor Bartley will remain a scratch against the San Jose Sharks, Wednesday night.

Bartley has only dressed for one game this season, earning a minus-1 playing over 13 minutes. He appeared in 37 games last year, and has only scored once in his 112 game career, all in Nashville silks.

Victory Bartley will be scratched against the Penguins on Saturday.

Bartely however has little to no fantasy value to speak of, as he is not one to hit the stat sheet in a meaningful way.

Victor Bartley will make his season debut for Nashville on Tuesday night against Tampa Bay.

Quite the night to step back into the fray against for Bartley, as the LIghtning are once again one of the League's best scoring teams. Though he'll pair with Mattias Ekholm to make the Predators' third defensive pairing, he has no fantasy value.

Victor Bartley could be Nashville's seventh defenseman going into the season.

He dressed in 37 games last year and 111 over the past three campaigns. Anthony Bitetto, Conor Allen and Taylor Aronson are also in the running, but they have less experience and will need to really stand out at training camp to take Bartley's spot.

Victor Bartley was in the lineup for Nashville on Sunday against Chicago.

It marked his first career appearance in the NHL playoffs. Bartely got to play because of Shea Weber's lower-body injury and he was paired with Cody Franson in Nashville's 4-2 loss. He finished the game with a minus-1 rating in 9:34 of ice time.

Defensemen Victor Bartley, Anton Volchenkov, and forwards Kevin Fiala and Eric Nystrom will each be scratched from Game Two against Chicago on Friday night.

Unfortunately, none of these four players can be recommended for even the deepest of leagues. Bartley and Volchenkov are spare parts on the blue line, while Fiala is an unproven commodity and Nystrom is still recovering from injury.

Victor Bartley and Kevin Fiala will both be healthy scratches for Game 1 of the Western Conference Quarterfinals series against Chicago.

Bartley skated in 37 games with the Predators during the regular season and was unable to register a goal but did chip in with 10 assists and 26 penalty minutes. Fiala is just 18-years-old and was the 11th overall pick in the 2014 NHL draft. He played in one game this season back on March 24th against Montreal and skated 11:25 minutes. Neither player has ever participated in an NHL playoff game.

Victor Bartley will skate with Joe Piskula to create Nashville's second defensive unit on Saturday night versus Dallas.

Bartley has played just 36 games this season with 23 have coming in 2015. He's posted 10 points, 26 PIMs, 49 blocks, and 73 hits through the season thus far.

Victor Bartley and Anton Volchenkov will be scratched against the Colorado Avalanche on Tuesday night.

Unfortunately, neither defender has much fantasy value. Volchenkov has seen just three games since mid-February, and Bartley has seen a trio since late-February.
