Anders Nilsson (undisclosed) isn't expected to be in the lineup on Wednesday night.

He is feeling a bit banged up, so Buffalo will recall Linus Ullmark to serve as Robin Lehner's understudy against Montreal. Nilsson stopped 39 of 40 shots in relief against Toronto on Monday night.
Apr 5 - 11:13 AM

Anders Nilsson allowed two goals on 28 shots in Tuesday's 3-1 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Nilsson gave up two goals in the first period, but he was able to keep the Jackets off the board the rest of the way (the third goal was scored into an empty net). Unfortunately, that wasn't enough to get his team the victory tonight. Nilsson has now dropped three of his last four decisions. He has a 10-10-4 record with a 2.73 goals-against-average and a .920 save percentage this season.
Mar 28 - 10:05 PM

Anders Nilsson will be between the pipes Tuesday versus Columbus.

Mar 28 - 4:59 PM

Anders Nilsson stopped 39 of 40 shots in a 2-1 shootout win over the Anaheim Ducks on Friday.

Nilsson was busy in this one, making save after save to keep the Sabres in it. He has played behind Lehner this season but has been able to post a very respectable .919 save percentage this season while winning 10 out of 24 games. He's shaping into a quality backup but doesn't warrant any ownership in the fantasy community. He added another eight stops in the shootout to secure the win for the Sabres.

Mar 17 - 8:18 PM

Anders Nillson gave up three goals on only 12 shots in the first period and was pulled early, but the Sabres rebounded to win 5-3 Saturday night.

Robin Lehner would prove to be perfect for the remainder of the night, blocking 24 of 24 shots. Nillson’s struggle was not unexpected as he entered the game with a record of 2-6-0 in his last eight decisions.

Anders Nilsson may get the start Sunday evening against the Canucks.

Robin Lehner was in goal Saturday night and was worked hard by Toronto in a game the Buffalo goalie stole. Nilssson is coming off a 5-4 OT win in which he stopped 40 San Jose shots Tuesday night.
