The Isles built a 2-0 lead in the first period on goals by John Tavares (27) and Frans Neilsen (11) and a 3-1 lead in the second period on a goal by Johnny Boychuk (fifth). The Isles will play the Rangers for the last time in the regular season on March 10 in Long Island.
