Jamie Oleksiak is still a restricted free agent looking for a new contract.

He chose not to file for salary arbitration. Mike Heika of the Dallas Morning News believes that Oleksiak's agent should consider asking for a trade before a contract is signed. If the defenseman wants to stay with the Stars then something may be worked out closer to training camp.
