Jamie Oleksiak netted two goals Monday in a 4-3 overtime loss to St. Louis.

He scored a highlight-reel goal when he weaved through the Blues defense and he tied the game late in the third. Oleksiak's confidence is sky high right now, as he has contributed three goals and one assist in the last four games.

Jamie Oleksiak netted his first goal of the season on Monday night.

He opened the scoring in a 3-2 overtime win for Dallas against Minnesota. Oleksiak was playing for just the sixth time in 20 games this season and he scored his second career goal in 84 total NHL appearances.

Jamie Oleksiak got back into the lineup from the press box on Thursday versus Calgary.

Nov 11 - 9:29 AM

Jamie Oleksiak will be scratched against Chicago on Sunday.

Through 80 career NHL games, the 23-year-old has just 12 points with 50 PIMS and 185 hits since making his debut in 2012-13. He's seen just a pair of games this season so we wouldn't expect much from him.
Nov 6 - 6:00 PM

Jamie Oleksiak and Gemel Smith will be scratched from Saturday's match with the Wild.

Unfortunately neither have found the score sheet in five combined games. Neither have track records of production so we wouldn't count on either moving forward.
Oct 29 - 8:06 PM

Jamie Oleksiak (lower body) seems healthy enough to play, but he probably won't be in the lineup on Tuesday.

He skated on the fourth defense pair alongside Esa Lindell during Monday's practice. Oleksiak hasn't played yet this season and he appeared in 19 games with the Stars last year.
Oct 17 - 6:08 PM

Jamie Oleksiak (lower body) will be available for Saturday's contest.

Oleksiak wasn't ready in time for the Stars' opener on Thursday. He had two points and 21 penalty minutes in 19 games with Dallas last season.
Oct 14 - 1:25 PM

Jamie Oleksiak (lower body) will not play in the Stars' opener on Thursday.

Oleksiak did participate in Dallas' morning skate though. Consider him day-to-day beyond Thursday's contest.
Oct 13 - 12:30 PM

Jamie Oleksiak (undisclosed) will likely miss Thursday's opener.

He is suffering from a muscle injury and should be considered day-to-day at this time.
Oct 11 - 2:14 PM

Jamie Oleksiak's 16-year-old sister, Penny, is making waves for Canada at the 2016 Olympic Games.

She anchored Canada to a bronze medal in the 4x100-metre relay on Saturday and she captured a silver medal in the 100-metre butterfly on Sunday. Jamie took to Twitter on Sunday night and he was speechless with pride: "I don't even know what to say right now, that was one of the most intense and amazing things I've seen." Perhaps her success will help inspire him in his push to land a permanent spot on the Stars' defense corp this season.

Jamie Oleksiak's recently signed one-way contract is a one-way deal.

Oleksiak will consequently receive $918,750 for his efforts in 2016-17 regardless of whether he plays with Dallas or in the AHL. He had two assists in 19 contests with Dallas last season.
Jul 13 - 10:38 PM

The Dallas Stars have inked Jamie Oleksiak to a one-year contract.

Oleksiak had two assists in 19 games with Dallas in 2015-16. He also had two assists in eight AHL contests. "Jamie brings size and a physical element to our backend," said Stars GM Jim Nill. "We're expecting him to have a solid summer of training and development and look forward to him competing for a regular spot in our lineup."

Apr 7 - 8:35 PM

Jamie Oleksiak and Travis Moen will be scratched against Nashville on Tuesday night.

Unfortunately with just 39 games played between them at this point in the season, there isn't much fantasy value in either Oleksiak or Moen.
