Jonas Brodin will return to the Wild's blue line on Saturday against the Predators.

He's been out since Jan. 17th with a finger injury. Through 43 games the young veteran has posted three goals and 16 points with 68 blocks this season. He needs just four points to reach 20 for the first time.
Feb 18 - 3:47 PM

Jonas Brodin (finger) is getting closer to a return.

"I have no idea right now," coach Bruce Boudreau said when asked for an exact timetable. "I'm hoping sooner than later. It looks like he's skating fine. He started taking slap shots today. I have to believe it's in the not-too-distant future." Brodin, who hasn't played since Jan. 17, is still skating with the team.
Feb 15 - 2:49 PM

Jonas Brodin (finger) has been moved to the injured reserve list.

Brodin has already been sidelined for nearly a month, so he can be activated whenever he's ready. That being said, he's projected to be out for about another week.
Feb 13 - 12:57 PM

Coach Bruce Boudreau has said that young veteran defender Jonas Brodin (finger) is seven-to-ten days away from returning to the blue line.

Through 43 games this season he's posted three goals and 16 points along with 68 blocks while seeing a career-low average of 19:47 of ice time per night.
Feb 10 - 1:41 PM

Jonas Brodin (finger) has been skating regularly, but he is still roughly 10 days away from being ready to return.

Brodin hasn't touched any pucks since breaking his finger on Jan. 17, so that will be the next step in his recovery. He has missed the last nine games and the 10th will come Wednesday night.

Jonas Brodin will miss a minimum of four weeks due to a broken finger.

His 16 points (three goals, 13 assists) in 43 games this season is already far better than the seven points he produced in 68 appearances last year.

Jonas Brodin will play in his 300th career NHL game on Thursday.

Jonas Brodin is "brimming with confidence," per head coach Bruce Boudreau.

The 23-year-old has had an up and down career so far, but he seems to have found his game over the last little while. He regularly plays over 20 minutes per night and he's collected at least one point in four of his last five contests. Brodin has three goals and seven assists in 20 games.

Jonas Brodin notched a career-high of three points, all helpers, during Friday's 6-2 win over the Penguins.

He now has points in four of his last five games, with a goal and six points overall in that span. For the season he has eight helpers and 10 points in 20 games, perhaps tantalizing us with that talent he showed as rookie that nearly won him the Calder.

Jonas Brodin scored a power play goal in Wednesday's 3-1 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

Brodin's power play goal at the 11:13 mark of the second period gave the Wild a 2-0 lead. It was his first goal since Oct. 15 and just his second of the season. Brodin has seven points in 19 games this season. Mikko Koivu and Zach Parise also found the back of the net.

Jonas Brodin had an assist in Thursday's 1-0 win over Boston.

Mikael Granlund scored in the last minute of the third on a lucky bounce off a Bruins defenseman when he was trying to pass to Brodin, so Brodin ended up being credited with the primary assist instead. He has one goal and five points in 16 games this campaign.
