Vladislav Namestnikov ended a six-game scoring slump in Game 5 of the Eastern Conference Final.

He contributed an assist on goal by Nikita Kucherov in a 4-3 overtime win over Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, Namestniov didn't account for a shot on goal for the sixth time in his last 10 appearances. He has three points in 15 games this postseason.

Vladislav Namestnikov tallied his first career playoff goal in Tuesday's 5-4 overtime win over the New York Islanders.

He scored early in the third period to tie Game 3 at 3-3. Namestnikov was filling for Jonathan Drouin, who was leveled by a big hit and had to be checked out before he was cleared to return. Namestnikov has two points in eight postseason contests in 2016.

Vladislav Namestnikov was part of a five-forward power play combination at Thursday's practice.

He skated with Steven Stamkos, Nikita Kucherov, Tyler Johnson and Ondrej Palat during the session. Coach Jon Cooper wouldn't say if the unit would be used Friday night, but the Lightning need to do something to get going with the man advantage. They have gone 0-for-12 in the past five games and they rank 25th in the league on the power play with 38 goals on 227 chances.

"It's cool," Namestnikov said. "It's a big honor and I'm excited for it. It's something new and it will be a great experience for me. It will be the best players in the world." Lightning coach Jon Cooper believes that Vladislav Namestnikov will play in at least one of the team's games this weekend.

The Bolts play against the Penguins Saturday afternoon and against Carolina Sunday night and Cooper is confident that Namestnikov will be in the lineup Sunday if not Saturday. Get ready to activate him if you need him.
