Namestnikov had a great night. He won 64% of his draws, played 3:26 on the power play, and even laid out a hit. His two goals were pretty as he froze Carey Price both times with a deke before beating him short-side. The markers give him nine goals and 16 points through 38 games this season.

Look for Vladislav Namestnikov to play Saturday afternoon against Detroit if Brenden Morrow is not ready to suit up.

Namestnikov was an emergency call up in case Morrow, who is dealing with an upper-body injury, can't go on Saturday. Although the 24-year-old has some talent, he has no real fantasy value at the moment.

He started the game on the third line, but replaced Jonathan Drouin on the second unit with Tyler Johnson and Nikita Kucherov. Namestnikov has nine points in 30 games with the Lightning.

Vladislav Namestnikov was brought up from the minors on an emergency basis Thursday.

He filled in for J.T. Brown against Toronto. His fourth goal of the season turned out to be the game winner after the Leafs scored late in the third. Namestnikov has eight points in 27 games this season.

Tampa has re-assigned Vladislav Namestnikov to Syracuse of the AHL.

With the return to health of Cedric Paquette, Namestnikov was no longer needed in Tampa. Although the 23-year-old forward won't be much of a fantasy factor this season, he does have some offensive potential for the future.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have promoted Vladislav Namestnikov.

Namestnikov has three goals and seven points in 25 games with Tampa Bay this season. He's got far more offensive upside than those numbers suggest, but we don't expect him to start reflecting that until 2015-16 at the earliest.
