The Edmonton Oilers are expecting Oscar Klefbom (finger) to return after the All-Star break.

It's unclear when he'll return, but it won't be before early February. The 22-year-old has missed each of Edmonton's last 12 games since suffering a broken finger. He has four goals and 12 points in 30 games this season.

Unfortunately for the Edmonton Oilers, Oscar Klefbom will not be returning any time soon per Coach Todd McLellan.

The young defender hasn't played since suffering a broken finger knuckle on December 11th, and is also dealing with a lower body injury to boot. Through 30 games this season, Klefbom posted 12 points with 62 hits while averaging nearly 22 minutes a night.

In addition to Oscar Klefbom's broken knuckle, he has a lower-body injury.

Oscar Klefbom's hand injury is more specifically a broken knuckle.

Klefbom has missed Edmonton's last two games. There's a chance that Klefbom will return on Monday, but a more likely return date would be Dec. 26 against Vancouver. He has four goals and 12 points in 30 contests in 2015-16.

Oscar Klefbom's hand injury is less serious than what was originally reported.

General manager of the Edmonton Oilers Peter Chiarelli updated Oscar Klefbom's status on Sunday, indicating that the hand injury the 22-year-old suffered on Friday is not as significant as it was originally thought. Klefbom was believed to have broken a finger, but it appears as though he may join the Oilers on their upcoming four game road trip. Klefbom has four goals and 12 points in 30 games.

Do not expect to see Oscar Klefbom (fractured finger) in the Edmonton lineup in the near future.

A fractured finger is not a good injury to have for a blueliner although we guess it would be worse for a goalie. Klefbom has four goals and 12 points in 30 games so you will have to look elsewhere to replace his offense in the near future.

Oscar Klefbom broke his finger Friday in the second period and did not return.

Klefbom played only 11:55 but still led all Oilers and Rangers with seven shots on goal. Klefbom is a nice player as the former first round pick in 2011 has four goals and 12 points in 30 games. It's unlikely he will play during the Oilers upcoming four game road trip so bench him for the next week at least.

Oscar Klefbom fired home his fourth goal of the season in Friday's 5-1 win over New Jersey.

Klefbom who now has points in four of his last six games, is the proud owner of 11 points in 20 games on the season. Not too shabby for the young defender.

Oscar Klefbom picked up his second goal of the season in Friday's 2-1 loss to Pittsburgh.

Like a beautiful rocket dashing through the air, Klefbom's slapper was parked perfectly between Jeff Zatkoff's shoulder and the underside of the cross bar. Klefbom now has two goals and six points this season.

Oscar Klefbom was a minus-four on Friday in a 7-4 loss to Washington.

It was not a great game for the former first round pick in the 2011 Draft as the Oilers were attempting to win for the fourth straight time but to no avail. "It was a bad game overall, we didn’t stick to the game plan," Klefbom said. "Washington didn’t play a great game either, it was a very loose game. We have to play better as a group. We had something really good going on. This is too bad today." Klefbom has a goal and an assist and is now a minus-five in eight games this season. He has limited fantasy value in deeper pools.
