Nick Shore and Jamie McBain will be scratched for Game 1 on Thursday night against the Sharks.

Now through the first 102 games of Shore's career, he's posted 17 points with 148 hits. Unfortunately, that's just not enough value to warrant much consideration.
Apr 14 - 9:47 PM

Nick Shore, Nic Dowd, Kevin Gravel will each be scratched against the Jets on Saturday.

Unfortunately there isn't a lick of fantasy value between these three youngsters. Shore posted 97 hits and 10 points in 68 games to lead the way.

Nick Shore scored his first career game winner Saturday.

Shore's second goal of the season was the winner as the Kings defeated the Oilers 4-3. Shore has little fantasy value as he has yet to pick up an assist and is minus-seven in 17 games this season.

Nick Shore won 10-of-11 faceoffs on Saturday.

That's a great stat and he is now 89-of-161 for a 55.3 percent rating. Shore has only one goal in 14 games so you had better be playing the faceoff stat if he is of any value to your fantasy team.

Nick Shore scored the lone Kings' goal in Los Angeles' 5-1 loss to San Jose on Tuesday night.

Shore scored on a tip-in on the very first shot of the game. Unfortunately for the Kings, it was all downhill after that as the Sharks thoroughly out played the flat Kings in the season opener. Dustin Brown and Drew Doughty picked up assists on the goal. Shore was a great point producer in AHL and looked good during training camp.

Nick Shore has signed a two-year contract with the Los Angeles Kings.

Shore will come with a $600,000 annual cap hit at the NHL level, but the first season of his deal is two ways. He had a goal and seven points in 34 games last season. He was averaging just 11:05 minutes per game with the Kings, but he recorded 42 points in 38 contests when playing with the AHL's Manchester Monarchs.
