Nick Shore scored a goal on his only shot of the game while adding two blocked shots, a minor penalty and a hit in Tuesday's 4-1 loss against the Coyotes.
It was the pivot's first point in seven games since coming over in a deadline deal from the Ottawa Senators, and it is his first point since Feb. 9 when he was a member of the Los Angeles Kings. It's been a long and circuitous route for Shore, who is only worth a look in the very deepest of fantasy formats at this point. Apr 4 - 1:31 AM

Feb 11 - 7:35 AM

Feb 1 - 8:24 PM

Nick Shore (lower body) took part in Monday's practice.

Shore still might miss Tuesday's contest, but it's a positive sign that he was able to practice. His lower-body injury isn't believed to be serious, so consider him day-to-day. For what it's worth, Shore was filling in for Anze Kopitar on the top line during Monday's practice rather than skating on a line of his own. Kopitar was absent because he participated in the All-Star Game, so the Kings wanted to give him a bit of a breather.
Jan 30 - 9:30 AM

Nick Shore (lower body) should not be sidelined long term, head coach John Stevens said after Wednesday's game at Calgary.

Shore has posted three goals with 12 points through 45 games, so it's not a huge loss from a fantasy perspective. For now, consider him day-to-day. He'll have the All-Star break to rest his ailment. The team does not skate again until Tuesday in Dallas.
Jan 25 - 1:33 AM

Nick Shore (lower body) won't play in Wednesday's game against the Calgary Flames.

The Kings haven't really provided much information on the injury. He's considered day-to-day for now. He has three goals and 12 points in 45 games this season.
Jan 24 - 9:56 PM

Nick Shore scored a goal in a 4-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks.

Shore took a feed from Christian Folin that he got just enough of to float over John Gibson to put the Kings on the board midway through the final period. It's Shore's third goal of the season and he is now up to 12 points in 40 games this season. Anze Kopitar also scored a goal, his 18th of the year.
Jan 14 - 1:28 AM

Nick Shore struck for the game-winning goal in overtime in Tuesday's game in Anaheim.

Shore entered the game with just one goal and three points through his first 11 games, so he has a lot of work to do beyond these late-game heroics to get back into the good graces of fantasy owners.
