Mar 23 - 6:07 PM

It was a big fantasy night for Stefan Noesen Saturday as he had two assists, a fight and a plus-three rating.

Noesen, along with Travis Zajac and Blake Coleman played against the Sidney Crosby line and absolutely dominated them as Crosby was held pointless for the first time in 12 games while the Devils line accounted for three goals. Noesen has five goals and 15 points so his fantasy value is negligible but it was still a big night for the soon to be 25-year-old.

Stefan Noesen found the back of the net in Thursday's 2-1 overtime loss to the Montreal Canadiens.

The fact that the Devils got a point on the road without Taylor Hall, Kyle Palmieri and Marcus Johansson is still relatively impressive. Noesen opened the scoring with a goal at the 1:21 mark of the first period. He now has three goals and eight points in 24 games this season. Even though he's currently riding a five-game point streak, Noesen isn't worth owning in any fantasy format.

Stefan Noesen registered an assist in the Devils' 5-3 loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets on Friday.

Noesen has two goals and five points in 21 contests this season. He has some offensive upside, but not enough to justify having him in standard fantasy leagues.

Look for Stefan Noesen to get back in the Devils' lineup Sunday.

The Devils scratched Noesen Friday as they went with 11 forwards and seven defensemen but coach John Hynes wants four lines on Sunday so Noesen draws back in. "I think the big thing is four lines sometimes give you the opportunity to get up and get after it a little bit more," Hynes said. "Sometimes guys don’t have to double shift." Look for Noesen to see fourth line duty with Brian Boyle and Blake Coleman.
