Mark Scheifele (knee) is being regarded as a game-time decision on Tuesday.

Scheifele sustained the injury during Sunday's game. He has two goals and seven points in 19 contests in 2014-15.
Nov 18 - 1:35 PM

It sounds like Mark Scheifele may not miss much time after he suffered an apparent knee injury on Sunday.

According to TSN's Darren Dreger, Scheifele may take part in Tuesday's morning skate. Dreger added that the Jets center will reportedly be listed as day-to-day. We should know more after Winnipeg's practice.
Nov 18 - 9:00 AM

Mark Scheifele left Sunday's game against the Minnesota Wild with a knee injury.

Scheifele left the game midway through the second period and did not return. The 21-year-old has two goals and seven points in 19 games this season. He is considered day-to-day right now.
Nov 16 - 8:14 PM

Mark Scheifele contributed a pair of assists in Winnipeg's 3-1 victory over Carolina on Thursday night.

He had a helper in both goals by linemate Blake Wheeler. It's been a slow start to the season for Scheifele, but he appears to be heating up with five points in his past five contests.
Nov 14 - 8:30 AM

Mark Scheifele tallied a power-play goal in Winnipeg's 3-1 win over Nashville on Tuesday.

The Jets entered the game ranked 28th with the man advantage, but goals by Scheifele and Andrew Ladd bumped them up to 24th in the league by the end of the night. Scheifele also ended a seven-game pointless drought with his second goal of the year.
Nov 5 - 7:25 AM

Mark Scheifele scored the Jets' only goal in their 4-1 loss to the Calgary Flames on Sunday.

The goal was Scheifele's first of the season. Scheifele opened the scoring in the first period before Calgary scored four unanswered goals in the game. The Jets have now scored two goals in their last four games. Winnipeg head coach Paul Maurice is running out of options. Maurice mixed up all four lines before the game but the low scoring results didn't change.
Oct 19 - 10:07 PM

Mark Scheifele continued his strong preseason by adding in another goal Thursday night against Calgary.

Still just 21-years-old, Scheifele is entering his second season in the NHL, and is looking to make his mark - pardon the pun. His play has been dominant so far in September and though it's early, it looks like he may be as dominant an offensive force as Jets fans have hoped for. He skated 17:45, including 4:47 on the powerplay and 4:06 on the kill.
Oct 3 - 1:23 AM

Mark Scheifele reported to Jets' camp in great shape.

He is both more muscular and stronger after training with former NHLer and fitness guru Gary Roberts this past offseason. "I put on weight but the big thing Gary (Roberts) helped me with was cutting some body fat as well, said Scheifele. "It was a matter of putting on more muscle and cutting a bit of baby fat." We really like Scheifele's chances of having a breakout season in 2013-14 after the step up he took last year. We can certainly see him registering 50 points in 2014-15.
Sep 20 - 2:46 PM

Mark Scheifele started to play a little more at the end of the World Hockey Championship.

He was also able to generate more offensively. Scheifele registered two goals and two assists in eight games at the tournament, with all of this points coming in the team's last four matches. He averaged just under eight minutes of ice time per contest. He was seeing his first playing action since missing the last 19 games of the NHL's regular season with a knee injury.
May 26 - 10:01 AM

Mark Scheifele has been used sparingly at the 2014 World Hockey Championship.

He has averaged a team-low 5:19 of ice time in four games during the preliminary round. He probably played his best contest of the tournament so far on Thursday versus Denmark when he won 9-of-9 faceoffs and posted four shots. Scheifele doesn't have a point yet, but he's fresh off an MCL injury and his rookie status isn't helping either.
May 16 - 6:30 AM

Mark Scheifele feels ready to play after an MCL injury and he's excited to play for Team Canada in the World Hockey Championships.

"I'll be good to go by then. The knee is feeling good," he said. "I've been continuing to skate and work out and get it stronger and it's feeling really good. And there was no surgery and it healed on its own so that's good, too." The Winnipeg Jets struggled without him in the lineup, finishing with a record of 6-9-3 down the stretch. The talented rookie posted 13 goals and 34 points in 63 games.
Apr 23 - 7:21 AM

Mark Scheifele will play for Canada at the World Championships next month.

He hasn't played since March 4 because of a knee injury, but he's healthy now and eager to get back on the ice. Scheifele will be joined by Winnipeg coach Paul Maurice, who will serve on Canada's staff.
Apr 17 - 9:51 AM

Mark Scheifele (knee) has been cleared to play again.

Unfortunately, for him and the Jets he'll have to until next season. He has been sidelined since Mar. 4 with a sprained MCL. Scheifele registered 13 goals and 34 points in 63 games this campaign.
Apr 14 - 9:48 AM

Mark Scheifele (knee) may resume skating in the next couple of days, according to coach Paul Maurice.

He suffered a sprained MCL back on Mar. 4 and he hasn't played since. Scheifele had 13 goals and 34 points in 63 games prior to getting hurt.
