Jets head coach Paul Maurice decided to use his top line of Mark Scheifele, Patrik Laine and Blake Wheeler for just one shift in the third period on Friday night.

The Jets are going through a frustrating time, as they've dropped five games in a row and now find themselves outside the Western Conference playoff picture. "(Scheifele) and (Wheeler) have been carrying this club in so many ways. I had run them 15 minutes through two periods and they were frustrated with their game and they're going to play again," said Maurice. "We've got other players here who have to understand here that it's not two or three players here who have to get it done. They all have a piece of being ready and sometimes they need to get on the ice and feel that responsibility." That line has been one of the best for fantasy purposes this season and they won't stay in the dog house very long.
