Lucas Lessio has been sent to the minors.

Lessio has two goals and five points in 26 contests in 2014-15. Arizona has already used three of its four available post-trade deadline callups on paper transactions (players demoted and immediately recalled to make them AHL playoff eligible) so the odds of Lessio being summoned before the end of the campaign aren't great.

Lessio has two goals and five points in 22 games this season. He has the potential to be a factor offensively in future seasons, but he's not worth picking up for the rest of 2014-15 in standard leagues.

Lucas Lessio will sit out Sunday's tilt with the Winnipeg Jets as BJ Crombeen tags in.
