Dec 10 - 2:41 PM

Stuart Percy has been summoned from the minors.

He'll travel with the Leafs for Tuesday's road game against the Arizona Coyotes, but it's unlikely that he'll play unless an injury arises.
Nov 3 - 11:37 AM

Stuart Percy has been re-assigned to the Marlies of the AHL.

He was just recalled Thursday. Oddly, Percy, who has played seven games with the Buds, has yet to play a game with the Marlies despite being optioned twice. Percy will be back with the Leafs as soon as there is an injury on the team's blueline.
Nov 1 - 12:07 PM

Despite being scratched for Saturday's game, Maple Leafs' head coach Randy Carlyle says he isn't disappointed with rookie defenseman Stuart Percy.

"He did not have the strongest night (on Friday) and he had a banged-up injury so we thought it would be a night for him to take off," Carlyle said. "By no means are we disappointed in what he has brought to the table." The 21-year-old has three points in five games this season.

The Toronto Maple Leafs made defenseman Stuart Percy a healthy scratch on Saturday.

He's making way for Stephane Robidas as the Maple Leafs face off against the Detroit Red Wings once more. Percy's had a nice showing early on, but perhaps a night in the press box will keep him motivated.
Oct 18 - 6:52 PM

Stuart Percy is the first defenseman in the Maple Leafs' history to start his career with a three-game point streak.

Percy has recorded an assist in each of the Leafs' contests so far this season. His strong play has forced the Leafs to make adjustments and doubtlessly played a role in the decision to scratch Jake Gardiner on Sunday. Percy isn't a bad guy to take a chance on if he's a free agent in your standard league, but as is the case with any rookie, he's also a significant gamble.
Oct 14 - 2:44 PM

Stuart Percy dressed in his first NHL game Wednesday night.

He registered an assist on the power play and logged 20:21 of ice time in a solid debut, but felt he let his team down when the game-winning goal banked off his skate. However, his teammates were quick to praise his performance. "I told him it's a bad bounce," said captain Dion Phaneuf. "He has nothing to hang his head over. A shot from the corner hits his skate, that's bad luck. He plays well above his age, the way he moves the puck out of our zone, the patience that he has. He's a really good player for a young guy coming into the league."
Oct 9 - 12:36 PM

Stuart Percy has been sent to the minors by Toronto.

At least for now. Although Toronto had to present a cap compliant 23-man roster Tuesday, they might still recall Percy on Wednesday.
Oct 7 - 4:00 PM

Stuart Percy is still with the Leafs and it looks like he'll get a chance to make his NHL debut on Wednesday.

Cody Franson is dealing with an injured knee, which will probably sideline him for the start of the year. Percy skated with Roman Polak at practice on Monday and he's excited to be close to getting his first taste of NHL regular season action.
Oct 7 - 8:59 AM

According to Maple Leafs’ general manager Dave Nonis, rookie defenseman Stuart Percy is a serious candidate to make the team out of training camp.

"Stuart Percy has put himself in a very good position whether he’s ready right now or not," said Nonis. "He’s clearly been one of our top six or seven defensemen over the course of camp. He looks more and more comfortable." The 21-year-old was the Leafs’ first round pick in 2011. He registered four goals and 25 points with the Toronto Marlies last season.
