Trocheck continued that pace with an assist in the Panthers' 4-3 loss to Pittsburgh on Saturday. Trocheck has recorded 53 and 54 points in each of his previous two campaigns and he's a good bet to finish around there again if he stays healthy. Oct 15 - 5:29 AM

Vincent Trocheck logged a career-high 26:02 of ice time in Saturday's 5-4 win over Tampa Bay.

Trocheck logged heavy minutes on special teams with 5:30 coming on the power play and 5:23 on the penalty kill. He also scored what held up as the game-winning goal in the contest. "He's a warrior," coach Bob Boughner said. "He's a physical player. He plays in all situations. Real important in the faceoff circle. He does a little of everything. I don't like playing him that many minutes, by any means." He has two points in two games so far this year.

Sep 26 - 5:34 PM

Vincent Trocheck (upper body) took part in Friday's practice.

Trocheck previously skated for about 30 minutes after Thursday's practice, so it seems like he's progressing nicely. He was hurt during Tuesday's preseason contest.

Vincent Trocheck (upper body) skated for about 30 minutes Thursday after practice.

Sep 22 - 8:13 AM

Vincent Trocheck sustained an upper-body injury in Tuesday's preseason game, but it's not believed to be serious.

"I don't think it's anything serious," coach Bob Boughner said. "He's going to get re-evaluated today, but I expect him back at practice for the next couple days." Trocheck scored a goal and logged just 6:49 of ice time before he was forced to leave the contest.
Sep 20 - 2:41 PM

Vincent Trocheck found the back of the net in Thursday's 6-3 loss to the St. Louis Blues.

The goal put an end to his 17-game goalless drought. Trocheck tied the game at one at the 6:41 mark of the second frame, but it was all downhill from there for the Panthers. Trocheck finished the game with a minus-2 rating, two penalty minutes and five shots on goal in 20:26 of ice time. Trocheck has 23 goals and 54 points in 80 games.
Apr 6 - 10:30 PM

Vincent Trocheck has been centering the top line because of Aleksander Barkov's injury.

He is skating between Jaromir Jagr and Jonathan Huberdeau. "Yeah, I thought they really clicked," interim coach Tom Rowe said. "They had some nice plays in tight areas where Jags and Huby like to make some plays, so that was really good that they were able to click with Troch as quickly as they did. So I'll probably keep [the line] together for a while." That doesn't sound good for Barkov because the Panthers have just four games left this season, but it could help Trocheck snap his 16-game goalless drought.
Apr 3 - 10:43 AM

Vincent Trocheck hasn't scored a goal in 14 straight games.

He has managed to contribute nine assists in the past 12 games, though. "I don't think he's shooting enough by any stretch," interim coach Tom Rowe said. "Sometimes he's in great position in the offensive zone and probably not taking the shot when it's available. He's probably thinking a little bit too much instead of just playing. He needs to give and go a little more, something him and I have talked about." Trocheck is second on the Panthers with 22 goals in 76 games.
Mar 30 - 8:52 AM

Vincent Trocheck is projected to play with Jussi Jokinen and Reilly Smith on Tuesday night.

Mar 11 - 9:57 AM

He exited the game in the second period after he attempted a hit on Oilers winger Jordan Eberle. Trocheck was back on the bench for the start of the third and he finished the match with 15:49 of ice time. It seems like he will be OK, but we will let you know if his status changes.
