Vincent Trocheck has been reassigned to the minors.
Florida has had a logjam at forward and coach Gerard Gallant has had to make two scratches up front most nights, but that battle for playing time will probably continue after the All-Star break if Trocheck comes back up. Trocheck has four goals and 13 points in 28 games with Florida this year. Jan 20 - 6:03 PM

Vincent Trocheck will be back in the Panthers lineup Monday night.

Trocheck has been out of the lineup for five of the last six games for the Cats but him and Brandon Pirri will get some action Monday against the Canucks before the All-Star break. They will be replacing Scottie Upshall and Sean Bergenheim. Trocheck has played in 27 games this season registering four goals and nine assists.

Vincent Trocheck has been a healthy scratch in five of the Panthers' last six games.

Trocheck is expected to be sent to the AHL over the all-star break next week, but would have to pass through waivers to be sent down. The 21-year-old has four goals and 13 points in 27 games. He was the Panthers' third round pick in 2011.

Vincent Trocheck and Brandon Pirri will be scratched once again on Saturday against Edmonton.

It'll be the fourth straight for Trocheck and third for Pirri. While 13 points in 27 games with 49 hits and a 48% faceoff winning percentage are impressive for the rookie Trocheck, if he can't get into the lineup consistently, he can't be recommended for your squad.

Look for Brandon Pirri and Vincent Trocheck to be healthy scratches against the Oilers Saturday night.

This has been the pattern of late for both Trocheck and Pirri, who practiced with the injured Shawn Thornton on the Cats' fifth line on Friday. Despite some success when they have received a chance to play, neither Trocheck or Pirri has any fantasy value at this time.
Jan 17 - 10:38 AM

Vincent Trocheck and Brandon Pirri are healthy scratches in Thursday's game against Colorado.

Both players have some decent long term upside but they probably won't produce consistent offensive numbers this year. Trocheck has 13 points in 27 games, while Pirri has four points in 19 games.

Vincent Trocheck and Brandon Pirri are expected to be scratched on Tuesday night against Winnipeg.

Trocheck, the young Pittsburgh, PA native, has 13 points in 27 games this season, but just two points in his last ten games. Once he finds the lineup more consistently, expect his 49 hits and nearly 48% faceoff winning percentage to grow.

Vincent Trocheck was a last-minute replacement for Aleksander Barkov Friday night.

Barkov took ill and could not suit up against the Flames. Trocheck, who was originally scheduled to be a healthy scratch, was rushed into the lineup and played between Brad Boyes and Jonathan Huberdeau, who each had a goal and an assist in the 6-5 win. If Trocheck, who was plus one and won four out of seven faceoffs, can bring out that kind of performance in his linemates he may be able to stay in the lineup for longer than one game.

Vincent Trocheck and Brandon Pirri will be scratched Thursday night in Vancouver.

Through 26 games, Trocheck has 13 points, 10 PIMs, 49 hits, and has won an astounding 105 faceoffs so far this season. When's he's in the lineup, Trocheck has all kinds of value. Pirri on the other hand, has none.

Florida's Vincent Trocheck joins Nashville's James Neal, and Detroit's Gustav Nuqvist for being fined $2,000 for as a repeat diver.

Each player gets a warning from the league if they're caught diving, a second offense comes with the subsequent fine. Trocheck's received his warning back on Dec. 12th, thus making his Jan. 4th offense in Washington a very expensive one-man show.

Vincent Trocheck netted the only goal for the Panthers in their 3-1 loss to the Penguins on Saturday night.

Trocheck hadn't played in a week. He beat Marc-Andre Fleury on the power play at 7:31 of the first period. The 21-year-old certainly has some promise, but with three goals and 12 points on the year, he’s not quite ready to become a mainstay in fantasy lineups. Jonathan Huberdeau and Aaron Ekblad had the helpers.

Vincent Trocheck and Brad Boyes will return to Florida's lineup on Saturday night vs. the Penguins.

Of the two, only Trocheck is of much value right now. Through 20 games, he has two goals and 11 points, along with 35 hits and 93 faceoffs won.

There is a very good chance that Vincent Trocheck will draw back into the Panthers' lineup Saturday night against the Penguins.

Trocheck, who was a healthy scratch for the Cats' last game Thursday against Philadelphia, is a Pittsburgh native and has 50 family and friends coming to Saturday night's game. It would be incredibily bad form on the part of coach Gerrard Gallant to sit him for this contest. Trocheck has also played well and has been one of the more effective rookies this season. We would play Trocheck Saturday as he surely will want to impress those who have come to see him.

Vincent Trocheck and Brandon Pirri will be healthy scratches on Wednesday against Philadelphia.

"Those kids have played well, they've worked hard and they're competing hard," coach Gerard Gallant said. "Now we've got a healthy lineup except for Shawn Thornton so guys are battling. It's tough for me to sit out guys that have played well but I like the way our team is playing."

Vincent Trochek, Brandon Pirri, Shane O'Brien will all be healthy scratches on Tuesday night against Washington.

Of that trio, perhaps only Trocheck is worth keeping an eye on in deeper pools. Through 19 games, he has two goals, 11 points, 35 hits, and 44 shots on goals this season.
