Vincent Trocheck snapped his six game point drought with a goal in Saturday's 5-2 win over Tampa Bay.

He'll never score this kind of goal again, as Trocheck's shot was deflected in a rainbow-parabola from the high slot perfectly over and past Ben Bishop. Go find a highlight. The youngster now has 13 goals and 25 points on the year.

Vincent Trocheck is doing a nice job subbing in for the injured Nick Bjugstad on the Panthers' second line.

Trocheck scored his eighth goal of the season in his 26th game eclipsing his goal total of seven in 50 games in 2014-15. He also has seven assists for an overall point total of 15. Not too shabby for someone who was supposed to be exclusively a third-line center this campaign.

Vincent Trocheck centered the second line Tuesday night because of an upper-body injury to Nick Bjugstad.

Trocheck has played on the wing and at center this season. He filled in at center when Aleksander Barkov was injured and had plenty of success. Trocheck didn't earn a point in Tuesday's 3-1 win against St. Louis, but playing between Jonathan Huberdeau and Reilly Smith should give him a boost.

Vincent Trocheck played well as a center when he filled in for Aleksander Barkov.

Barkov is back in the lineup now, so Trocheck has been on the third line instead of the second unit. He produced five goals and two assists during Barkov's absence. Trocheck has played in the middle and on the wing, but center is his natural position.

Vincent Trocheck got bailed out by Panthers netminder Roberto Luongo after he thought he scored against Calgary on Tuesday.

Trocheck beat Flames goalie Karri Ramo through the legs with 6:25 left in the game, but his shot went off the post. "I've given it to myself after that. Not much you can do. I thought it was in the net, the light was on," said Trocheck. "Little did I know by the time I turned around the puck was at the red line. I just busted my butt to get back. They had a couple good chances right there." Luongo put an end to Calgary's rush with a great glove save to preserve Florida's victory. Trocheck scored his sixth goal of the season earlier in the contest.

Vincent Trocheck picked up his fifth goal of the season in Thursday's 5-2 loss to San Jose.

Trocheck has four goals and nine points in nine games. No one expected him to be on a point-per-game pace at this stage of the season, but there's a good chance his production will tail off.

Vincent Trocheck scored his second goal of the season Thursday night.

He tied the game just 34 seconds after Artem Anisimov gave the Blackhawks a 1-0 lead. "I whacked at it 10, 15 times until it went in," said Trocheck said. "The next shift after a goal for either side is very important. We were trying to take the momentum away from them. And then we lost it." Trocheck had a four-point game back on opening night, but he didn't hit the scoresheet in five matches after that.
