Florida Panthers center Vincent Trocheck ripped a slap shot through a maze of players with 4.6 seconds left in regulation and, somehow, it found the net for what was the winning goal in St. Louis Monday night.
With their 2-1 victory, the Panthers won their fifth consecutive game and recorded a perfect 5-for-5 road trip. Trocheck has been red-hot himself. His goal, his 21st of the season, was his eighth point in his past five games. Five of those points were assists. His goal Monday came from the high slot; Blues goalie Jake Allen never saw the puck. Jonathan Marchessault also scored for the Panthers, his 17th of the season. It gave the Panthers a 1-0 lead in the first period. Feb 20 - 11:01 PM
