Montreal has agreed to terms with prospect Patrick Holland on a three-year contract.

He was acquired from Calgary in the Michael Cammalleri deal. The 20-year-old has racked up 24 goals and 79 assists in 67 games with the WHL's Tri-City Americans this season. Holland was a seventh round-pick of the Flames in the 2010 draft.

The Calgary Flames dealt prospect Patrick Holland to Montreal, along with Rene Bourque and a second-round pick in the 2013 draft, to re-acquire Michael Cammalleri on Thursday night.

Holland has notched 17 goals and 40 assists 40 games with the Tri-City Americans of the WHL this season. He was drafted in the seventh round of the 2010 draft by Calgary.

Holland attended the Flames training camp, but he was never expected to make the team. He took a step forward in 2010-11, scoring 22 goals and 62 points in 71 WHL contests.
