There is a good chance that Nick Cousins will return to the Flyers lineup Saturday against the Devils.

Cousins, who has not played since March 5th due to a concussion, took part in practices this week and is on the verge of a return to action. If he does dress Saturday, he may play alongside Claude Giroux and Jakub Voracek, which makes his somewhat valuable from a fantasy perspective.
Apr 1 - 11:02 AM

Nick Cousins (concussion) took part in Wednesday's practice.

"I feel good," Cousins said. "I don't know if I'm 100 percent but I'm close to it. It's just a matter of getting back to game shape and getting my legs back." He's regarded as day-to-day at this point. Cousins last played on March 15.
Mar 30 - 10:57 AM

Per coach Dave Hakstol, Nick Cousins has "no timetable for return."

Well that's disappointing. Cousins has been out for nearly two weeks with an upper body injury. It appears more than likely that his 2016-17 campaign has ended with six goals and 16 points in 59 games for the Flyers.

Mar 13 - 7:03 PM

Nick Cousins scored the only goal of the night as the Flyers lost a 3-1 contest to the Flames on Wednesday.

Cousins sixth goal of the season was aided by Mark Read’s sixth assist, but Cousins would go on to play an even bigger role in the game. At the 7:41 mark of the first he drew a five minute penalty and game misconduct by Alex Chiasson for spearing. At the end of that power-play, the Flames had a two-man advantage for two minutes after Sean Monahan was dinged for a delay of game. The Flyers were unable to score for that power-play and the rest of the night.

Jan 10 - 6:56 PM

Nick Cousins, Boyd Gordon and Nick Schultz will be scratched against the Ducks on Sunday.

Of the three only Cousins has picked up much playing time, and fantasy value. Through 34 games he's posted 10 points with 21 PIMs and 34 hits. Well more than Gordon and Schultz combined in every respect.

Nick Cousins picked up his ninth point of the season during Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Stars.

Cousins' assist gives him six on the season and 11th for his career. Now through 76 career games he has 20 points, which unfortunately may indicate his fantasy value.
