Adam Lowry doesn't have a goal in 16 games this season.

He isn't the only player struggling on the Jets, but he is the only forward who plays regularly to go goalless so far. Lowry has collected four assists and a minus-8 rating to add to his statistical woes.
Nov 12 - 10:19 AM

Adam Lowry has opened the regular season on a line with Drew Stafford and Alexander Burmistrov.

The combination has been tasked with a checking-type role, but they can also produce offensively. "Our line is looking to be a solid line that can contribute at both ends of the rink," said Lowry. "We offer a good blend of a lot of things. It's nice to know you have the trust of the coach and you want to continue to show him that you can do it and you can excel at that job." Lowry has one assist, five hits and four penalty minutes in two games to start the season.
Oct 12 - 9:58 AM

Adam Lowry racked up 12 penalty minutes as Winnipeg lost 8-1 on Sunday to Minnesota.

With the game well out of range, Lowry tried to fight Wild centerman Mikko Koivu in the third period which led to a scuffle involving Wild forward Charlie Coyle and Jets defenseman Jacob Trouba. Lowry is slated to start the year on the third line with Alexander Burmistrov and rookie Nikolaj Ehlers. He is someone to keep an eye on if he continues to rack up penalty minutes.
Sep 27 - 9:15 PM

Adam Lowry is currently the Winnipeg Jets' team leader in points through three games this postseason.

With a goal and two assists, it's great to see the rookie finding his stride when the games mean the most. But if Adam Lowry is your points leader, there are serious flaws in your lineup that need to be addressed.
Apr 21 - 1:54 AM

Adam Lowry notched his first career playoff goal just 39 seconds after Anaheim's Sami Vatanen opened the scoring during Thursday's eventual 4-2 Game One loss.

Lowry didn't waste any time redirecting Jacob Trouba's pass through Frederik Andersen for a very pretty goal. Over his 13:54 of work, Lowry contributed another shot and two hits during his first career playoff game. Lowry now has 15 goals and 19 points over 110 games to go in order to catch his rugged father Dave in career playoff points.
Apr 17 - 2:02 AM

Adam Lowry tallied his 10th goal of the year on Thursday.

The rookie forward has 21 points in 73 games. Lowry wasn't credited with a hit in the match, but he ranks second among all first-year players with a total of 231.
Mar 27 - 11:52 AM

Adam Lowry centered Winnipeg's top line with Andrew Ladd and and Michael Frolik.

The Jets were without Bryan Little, so Lowry was given more ice time and he stepped up. Lowry played 16:15 in the game and he was 50 percent in the face-off circle. He didn't produce any points in the game but the Jets were happy with what he brought to the table. Lowry has been growing in confidence but he hasn't produced a ton of offense in his first year in the NHL. The 21-year-old has seven goals and 17 points in 64 games this season. He should improve his offensive output as he keeps gaining experience.
Mar 8 - 12:51 PM

Adam Lowry is expected to get more responsibility while Bryan Little is dealing with an undisclosed injury.

Lowry, who has been averaging 13:29 minutes per game, has seven goals and 17 points in 63 games this season. He's projected to play alongside Michael Frolik and T.J. Galiardi on Saturday. Little could be back as soon as Thursday.
Mar 7 - 11:14 AM

Adam Lowry scored his seventh goal of the year in Tuesday's 4-2 win over Dallas.

The rookie forward recorded five shots in the match and earned praise from coach Paul Maurice for his effort. "He's a really smart pro," said Maurice. "So he understands we've got two of our top six (forwards) out of the lineup. We're going to need offense from all of the different lines. He picks up on that. His intensity level was as high tonight as it's been for quite some time." His 16th point of the season snapped an 11-game scoring drought.
Feb 25 - 10:26 AM

Adam Lowry (illness) was back on the ice on Monday.

The Jets had a short practice and the rookie forward took part after missing Sunday's game with an illness. Consider Lowry probable to play Tuesday against Minnesota. He has 15 points and 163 hits in 53 games.
Feb 10 - 8:09 AM

Adam Lowry (illness) is not in Winnipeg's lineup on Sunday night.

This shouldn't force him to miss too much time. Patrice Cormier will replace him in the Jets lineup.
Feb 8 - 6:18 PM

Adam Lowry has been getting power-play time with Evander Kane out of the lineup.

"It's always nice to get that extra ice time but it's unfortunate that it has to come when Evander gets hurt," said Lowry, who received 1:08 of ice time on the power play Monday. "But you try to make the most of every opportunity. Going out there, I just want to continue to help our power play. I think it's starting to get better in the last 15 or so games and we want to continue to improve it."

Adam Lowry, son of long time NHL'er Dave Lowry, currently leads all rookies in penalty minutes with 28 through his first 26 games.

Perhaps strangely, the young Lowry has just one fight to his credit. He fought Craig Adams late in the third period in a November 6th loss to Pittsburgh. Fifteen of those minutes also came in from a boarding (five minutes) and game misconduct (ten minutes) he received for hitting Buffalo's Patrick Kaleta from behind. It also resulted in his first career suspension, albeit just one game.
