Antoine Roussel earned his first hat trick of the season as the Dallas Stars beat the Tampa Bay Lightning 4-3 in overtime Saturday night.
Roussel accounted for all three of the Stars’ regulation goals. Trailing 2-0 almost 13 minutes in the first, he scored at the 12:50 and 18:50 minute marks to tie the contest. The Bolts held the Stars scoreless through the second and Roussel tied the game for a second time at 4:40 in the third, sending the game into overtime where Jamie Benn scored the game winner. "He looks like he could be a player," coach Lindy Ruff said after Tuesday's practice. "Felt good today, better than yesterday. Jan 3 - 2:46 PM

Antoine Roussel (upper body) fully participated in Monday's practice.

Roussel skated on a line with Jason Spezza and Tyler Seguin, but you shouldn't read too much into that because he was likely just keeping that spot warm for the absent Jamie Benn (foot). Either way, Roussel is getting pretty close to returning.
