Anders Lee scored the game winning goal against the Kings as the Islanders prevailed in a 4-2 contest Saturday night.

Lee’s scores were each critical. He scored the second goal of the night at the 7:09 mark of the second period to give the Islanders a 2-0 lead. Jeff Carter and Drew Doughty answered early in the third and turned the momentum until Lee responded at the 9:31 mark. His power-play goal provided the final lead of the night. Lee is riding a four-game streak in which he has scored at least one point.

Anders Lee scored a goal in the Islanders' 4-3 win over Washington.

Lee has found the back of the net in three of his last four games. He has 13 goals and 17 points in 34 contests in 2016-17.

Anders Lee has 11 goals in his last 14 games.

That run dates back to Nov. 23 and is the most markers that any player has scored over that span. However, Lee's recent run has been counterbalanced by the fact that he scored just one goal over his first 18 contests. "Things are going right, right now," said Lee. "I’ve been getting the bounces, I’ve been in the right places at the right times, recently. I’ve found my way a little bit and when we combine that with wins, it really is a lot of fun." It will be interesting to see where Lee ends up by the conclusion of this season. He's not going to be able to maintain his recent pace, but hopefully his early season slump wasn't representative of him either. After all is said and done, there's a decent chance he'll finish around his career-high of 25 goals.

Anders Lee scored a pair of goals and an assist in Tuesday's 4-2 win over the Boston Bruins.

Lee opened the scoring with an unassisted goal just 3:05 into the game, and he added an assist on Thomas Hickey's goal 1:35 later. His power play goal in the third period extended the Islanders' lead to 4-2. Lee's scored four goals in his last four games and he's up to 12 on the season. The 26-year-old has 16 points in 32 games.

Anders Lee scored his 10th goal of the season during Sunday's 6-2 loss to the Senators on Sunday night.

Lee's 10 goals and 13 points are still a bit disappointing for fantasy owners, considering he managed 25 goals and 41 points as a 24-year-old two years ago. Nonetheless, he's well on pace to beat the 15 goals he scored last year.

Anders Lee found the back of the net in the Islanders' 5-4 loss to Chicago Thursday night.

Lee has only been held off the scoresheet once in his last six games. He has nine goals and 12 points in 29 contests this season.

Anders Lee scored two goals in Thursday's 3-2 win over the St. Louis Blues.

Lee scored the game-tying (1-1) goal on the power play in the first period and he ended up scoring the game-winner in the third frame. The 26-year-old has three goals in his last three games and eight goals and two assists in 26 contests. John Tavares scored the other goal for the Islanders.

Anders Lee scored his sixth goal of the season during the Isles' 4-3 loss to Detroit on Sunday.

Lee now has six goals and an assist through 24 games this season. His 13.6 shooting percentage is the highest of his career.

Anders Lee scored the game-winning goal in a 5-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins on Wednesday night.

The Islanders blew a 3-0 lead entering the third period, but Lee's goal with just under 27 seconds remaining in the game won it for New York. Lee started off his season with only two points through his first 18 games, but now has four points in his last four games. Despite his recent surge in production, we still wouldn't recommend rushing to pick him up off the waiver wire considering he is shuffling back and forth between the third and fourth line for the Islanders. Johnny Boychuk, Jason Chimera, Casey Cizikas, and Nikolay Kulemin also scored for the Islanders.
Wed, Nov 30, 2016 10:56:00 PM

With his fourth tally of the season on Friday, Anders Lee now has three goals in his two games.

The Islanders didn't win either game against the Kings on Wednesday nor the Sharks today, though. Lee is now up to a grand total of five points in 20 games this season. A order of magnitude off the precedent set for himself during his rookie campaign.

Anders Lee tied the game at the 4:27 minute mark of the third period and scored a second "meaningless" goal in the third as the New York Islanders lost a 4-2 contest to the Los Angeles Kings Wednesday night.

That snapped a five-game point-less streak for the Minnesota native as he more than doubled his goal count for the year. With three goals in 19 games and one assist, he struggles to be fantasy relevant.

Anders Lee netted a goal in the Islanders' 3-2 loss to the Sharks Tuesday night.

It was Lee's first goal and point of the 2016-17 campaign. He had 15 goals and 36 points in 80 games last season.
