Cam Schilling has been assigned to the minors by Washington.

Schilling may get a call-up from the Capitals during the season if injuries occur and since he is already familiar with the team's system, which he learned during Adam Oates' lockout stint as a co-coach in Hershey, it should be an easier transition.
