The Dallas Stars have acquired Greg Pateryn and a 2017 fourth-round pick from Montreal in exchange for Jordie Benn.

Pateryn has a goal and six points in 24 games with Montreal this season. He comes with a $800,000 annual cap hit and is signed through the 2017-18 campaign.
