Anthony Bitetto scored in Thursday's 3-2 OT loss to the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Bitetto has been productive through two preseason games, as he also registered a pair of assists on Tuesday. The 26-year-old played in just 28 games last year and unless an injury occurs, he may not play much more in 2016-17. Yannick Weber, who Bitetto will likely battle for playing time, also scored for the Predators in this one.

Anthony Bitetto registered a pair of assists in Nashville's 2-1 win over the Florida Panthers.

The two organizations played a pair of split-squad exhibition games tonight. The Panthers won the first game 4-1 and the Preds came out on top in the second contest. Bitetto assisted on goals by Miikka Salomaki and Pontus Aberg. Bitetto played a team-high 23:05 in this one and he finished with a plus-1 rating and two shots on goal. Bitetto spent a good chunk of time with the Predators last season, but he mostly served as a healthy scratch in 2015-16. He had a nice night at the office, but it's important to remember it's still early in the preseason.
