With Marc-Edouard Vlasic listed as a game-time decision with an undisclosed injury, Matt Tennyson could be in line to play Tuesday against the Kings.

Otherwise it'll be Tennyson's seventh straight game in the stands, having last played on Dec 8th. He has but a trio of points and 20 hits in 23 games this season.

Matt Tennyson will be scratched for Sunday night's match with Chicago.

This will be Tennyson's sixth straight game in the stands, having not played since Dec. 8th. It's easy to see why however, as he has a trio of points and 20 hits in 23 games this season.

Matt Tennyson and Mike Brown will each be scratched for Friday night's match with Ottawa.

Unfortunately there isn't much fantasy value in Tennyson, as he has a trio of points and 20 hits in 23 games this season. Brown meanwhile has managed to post quality tough guy numbers with 86 hits and 41 PIMs over 29 games.

Matt Tennyson and Barclay Goodrow will each be sat for Tuesday's match with Montreal.

Unfortunately there isn't much fantasy value between either player. Tennyson has but three points, 16 blocks, and 20 hits over 23 games this season, while Goodrow also has three points but not much else in 12 games.

Matt Tennyson will sit out Wednesday's game against the Oilers

Rookie Dylan Demelo slides into the lineup in his spot, after Tennyson had dressed for three straight. Matt Nieto will be the other scratch, his first of the season.

Matt Tennyson needs to improve his play after he gave away the puck a couple of times Wednesday.

Tennyson saw only 7:53 of action as he was benched for most of the third as the Sharks went with five blueliners. Justin Braun is out at least one more game so Tennyson will draw back in again Saturday. "I’ve liked some of the things that have gone on. I think we’re expecting more," DeBoer said. "I’m expecting that when somebody goes down, that he can come in and play 15 minutes and we don’t have to limit him to seven or eight or 10. As a coaching staff that’s what we’re looking for, and that’s up to him to decide whether he can handle that or not." Tennyson has two assists in 19 games with nary a penalty minute so his fantasy value is negigible.

Matt Tennyson and Michael Haley will be scratched from Sunday's tilt with Columbus.

While Haley has accumulated 19 hits and 10 PIMs over his six games, he's taken just 38 shifts on the season and is averaging less than seven minutes per game. Remarkably this is far more production than anything Tennyson has produced in 17 games. Making neither a particularly advisable play.

Matt Tennyson, Nikolay Goldobin, and Ben Smith will be scratched from Tuesday's match with the Bruins.

Tennyson has yet to produce much of anything through 16 games this season, meanwhile Smith has seen just four games himself without any production. Goldobin may have a couple of points to his name, but through seven games he's given little reason to have him on your radar.

Tennyson has two goals and six points in 27 contests. The projected return of Justin Braun on Tuesday combined with Marc-Edouard Vlasic rejoining the Sharks on Sunday pushed Tennyson off the roster.
