Matt Dumba will be in the lineup for Game 3 on Sunday night.

Bruce Boudreau seemed to indicate that Matt Dumba missed practice just for maintenance.

Boudreau apparently told Dumba to stay home because he has played 30 minutes in each of the last two games. The official quote from the head coach is "so he should be ok. Well, he is ok". Giving Dumba some time off makes sense seeing as he has played 60 minutes worth of hockey through the first two games of the playoffs. We'd expect to see the 23-year-old blueliner is the lineup tomorrow, however it's worth mentioning that some of the Wild's other defensemen seemed to indicate that Dumba was dealing with some sort of injury.

Matt Dumba is not practicing with his teammates.

Ryan Murphy is currently skating alongside Jonas Brodin on the top pairing. Losing Dumba for Game 3 would be a huge blow to a Wild team that is already without Ryan Suter for the remainder of the year. We'll get an update after practice from the Wild but this is probably just a maintenance day for Dumba.

Matt Dumba has been logging huge minutes through two playoff games.

Dumba has been forced into an increased role because Ryan Suter (ankle) is out of the lineup. The Wild blue liner played 30:03 in Game 1 and 26:58 in Game 2. "Like the [Incredible] Hulk, the madder he got, the better he got," head coach Bruce Boudreau said. "And with Dumbs, the more he plays, it doesn’t seem to tire him out. He gets more into the game."
