Date:

Radek Faksa has found the back of the net in three straight games.

Faksa's hot streak started with his hat trick on Nov. 28 and he kept it going by scoring a goal on Thursday and Saturday. He's up to 10 goals and 15 points in 25 contests this season after finishing 2016-17 with 12 goals in 80 contests. This run has been a pleasant surprise, but he's not likely to have much fantasy value overall this season.
Dec 3 - 9:34 AM

Radek Faksa produced a shorthanded goal in Thursday's 4-3 overtime victory versus Chicago.

Faksa also added an assist in the match to give him five points, including a hat trick, in his last two games. It's been an impressive week for Faksa, who is up to 14 points in 24 matches this campaign.
Dec 1 - 10:55 AM

Radek Faksa's natural hat trick Tuesday night came in a span of 6:46.

Faksa's three-game performance was the second fastest in franchise history after Bill Goldsworthy accomplished the feat in 5:32 for Minnesota against Los Angeles on Dec. 11, 1973. He also had two goals eight seconds apart, which was the second fastest to Goldsworthy, who scored seven seconds apart against the Kings on Nov. 27, 1971. The first hat trick of Faksa's NHL career led the Stars to a 3-0 win over Vegas.
Nov 29 - 10:38 AM

Radek Faksa recorded a natural hat trick with three goals in the second period of Tuesday's 3-0 win at Vegas.

Faksa was the offense, posting his first-career three-goal game. There were even a few hats that fell to the ice at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas to celebrate his feat. He finished with a plus-3 rating, five shots on goal and one hit while winning nine of his 16 face-offs in his best performance of the season.
Nov 29 - 1:25 AM

Radek Faksa scored in a 6-1 loss to the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Faksa scored a beautiful goal on a breakaway to tie the game 3:34 into the first period. Unfortunately, that was as close as it remained for the rest of the game. The 23-year-old Czech forward now has eight points in 18 games this season.
Nov 16 - 10:18 PM

Radek Faksa returned to action on Friday from a lower-body injury.

Faksa missed Monday's match against Winnipeg. He had two hits in 11:53 of ice time against the New York Islanders in his return.
Nov 11 - 2:39 AM

Radek Faksa (lower body) won't suit up in Monday's game against the Winnipeg Jets.

Faksa (lower body) and Tyler Pitlick (undisclosed) were both considered doubtful for Monday's game, but it's now been confirmed that they'll sit out. Both players are day-to-day at this point. Brett Ritchie will also miss the game because of an upper-body injury.
Nov 6 - 8:29 PM

Radek Faksa (lower body) is doubtful for Monday's match versus Winnipeg.

Nov 5 - 3:13 PM

Radek Faksa suffered a lower-body injury Saturday night.

Faksa picked up a goal and an assist in just 8:30 of ice time against Buffalo before he was forced to leave the game. He is listed as day-to-day for now.
Nov 5 - 1:40 PM

Radek Faksa snapped a five-game point drought on Saturday.

Faksa scored a goal and registered an assist in the Stars' 5-1 win over Buffalo. He has a solid three goals and seven points in 14 games, but he's actually been held off the scoresheet 10 times already, which has been contrasted by his three multi-point contests. The hot-and-cold nature of his season to date aside, he could end up beating his career-high of 33 points.
Nov 5 - 10:14 AM

Radek Faksa extended his point streak to three games on Saturday.

Faksa registered two assists in a 4-3 victory over Carolina. He's up to two goals and five points in eight contests this season, with all of those five points coming during his current hot streak. It's an impressive run, but keep in mind that he's been used a modest 12:29 minutes per game so far in 2017-18 and his workload hasn't gone up during this strong stretch. For that reason we're reluctant to recommend him at this time unless you're just see him as a short-term grab for the extent of his hot streak.
Oct 22 - 9:45 AM

Radek Faksa scored a goal and he added an assist with a plus-2 rating in Tuesday's 3-1 victory against the Coyotes.

Faksa had been scoreless over his first five games, so don't get terribly excited about this offensive performance. He posted 12 goals and 33 points last season, but he is most useful to fantasy owners for his work in the hits department.
Oct 18 - 12:33 AM

Radek Faksa has signed a three-year, $6.6 million contract extension with the Dallas Stars.

Faksa was a restricted free agent after completing his entry-level contract. He took a big step forward in 2016-17 with 12 goals and 33 points in 80 games. He'll likely begin the campaign as Dallas' third-line center.

Jul 10 - 3:46 PM

Radek Faksa appears to be ready to take on a checking-line center role with the Dallas Stars.

Faksa made great strides in 2016-17 during his first full season in the NHL. He posted 12 goals and 33 points in 80 games, while recording 67 penalty minutes and 132 shots. His progress may be one of the reasons why Dallas could move Cody Eakin this off-season.
