Youngster Tanner Pearson will likely enter training camp with a chance to secure a role on the Kings second line.
Pearson filled that second line role during the Kings playoff run this summer and showed some definite chemistry with sniper Jeff Carter in the process. Despite failing to impress with just seven points in 25 regular season contests, he elevated his game in the postseason and notched 12 points in 24 games. Both he and fellow youngster Tyler Toffoli should be popular sleeper selections in drafts this fall. Aug 9 - 9:39 AM
