Pearson's scoring rates in the playoffs are far superior than in the regular season. Now through 26 career postseason games, he has nine assists and 13 points. Whereas during the regular season he has 59 points in 146 games. Some guys can just turn it up a notch at the next level.
Apr 15 - 1:44 AM

Tanner Pearson capped his sophomore season in style, with the 15th goal of the season.

Pearson finished with 36 points across 79 games, 20 points better than his rookie year. The 23-year-old has had trouble with consistency, but the talent is there without a doubt.

Mar 22 - 8:19 PM

Tanner Pearson has been an offensive force of late with eight points in his last nine games.

Pearson also has six goals in his last 13 contests. He has been a solid performer of late and that has impressed coach Darryl Sutter. "Five-on-five he’s given us a more solid game, and obviously he’s scored, probably in our last 10 games, he’s probably got, what, six or seven? We need that. We need him to get his game back up, and with Tanner, he’s got to work from small parts of the game first, and then he has success the other way. When he stops working in the hard areas, then it looks like he’s not involved. Hey, he had to sit out a game because of that."

Tanner Pearson notched two goals in the Kings’ 2-0 win against the Sabres on Saturday night.

He scored in the second period and third period. Pearson, the 30th overall pick from the 2012 draft, offers some upside on offense, even if his stats (10 goals, 26 points) don’t fully show it yet. Don’t forget he was a major factor in the Kings’ 2014 Cup run, recording four goals and 12 points in 24 games. Jake Muzzin, Rob Scuderi, Alec Martinez and Vincent Lecavalier got the helpers.

Tanner Pearson, Nick Shore, and Jamie McBain will be scratched from Tuesday's tilt with Boston.

Of the three, only Pearson has been able to put up a modicum of fantasy value this season. The youngster has posted six goals and 21 points in 51 games this season. Still just 23-years-old we wouldn't give up on him just yet in dynansty pools.
