Pearson’s goal was his eighth of the season, but his first since November 19th—16 games ago. Winning a contest with any of these shooters on the roster was a matter of instinct over investigation.

Make that seven goals on 36 shots for a 19.4 shooting percentage. He won't continue to clip at that rate forever, but ride the wave while he does. Pearson now has 10 points in 17 games this season.
