It's Pearson's first multi-point game since Jan. 4. The 25-year-old forward has seen his numbers dip from last year's career-highs but he has still picked up a respectable 15 goals and 38 points in 76 games this season. His assists came on goals scored by Jake Muzzin and Jeff Carter.

Tanner Pearson scored his 14th goal of the season in Tuesday's 4-3 shootout loss in Arizona.

Pearson posted a plus-1 rating with one blocked shot across 16:21 of ice time and he won his only faceoff attempt. The left winger has picked up the scoring pace in the month of March, scoring four goals with five points and a plus-2 rating in six outings, including one power-play goal and a game-winning marker. He is worth plucking off the waiver wire in deeper fantasy pools while running hot.
Mar 14 - 2:18 AM

The Los Angeles Kings switched up their lines in practice Sunday and Tanner Pearson found himself on the top line with Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown.

Pearson replaced Alex Iafallo who was dropped to the fourth line. Jeff Carter centered Tobias Rieder and Trevor Lewis while the last two lines each had four players switching off with Tyler Toffoli playing with Iafallo, Andy Andreoff and Nate Thompson. That is what happens when you lose 7-2 as the Kings did on Saturday to St. Louis.

Tanner Pearson has not scored in nine games.

Jan 4 - 11:49 PM

Judging by Friday morning's practice, Tanner Pearson may line up alongside Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown on the Kings' first line against the Canucks Saturday night.

This would be a nice opportunity for the struggling Pearson to get his game going. The 25-year-old winger has scored only six goals this season after bulging the twine 24 times in 2016-17. Keep an eye on this situation.

Tanner Pearson has struggled to find the back of the net this season.

Pearson has just six goals in 37 contests in 2017-18 after setting a career-high with 24 goals last season. "I think his overall body of work, Tanner’s been OK. I think he can play better. I think he thinks he can play better," Kings coach John Stevens said. "When he’s on top of his game, he’s really getting in on the forecheck, he’s using his speed and quickness to get into scoring areas, he’s around the net a lot. I think there’ve been times this year he’s played really well, and I think there’ve been times he can play better. But, at the end of the day, he’s a top-six forward that we want playing in all situations, and we want him to produce for us." Pearson was moved up to the Kings' top line with Anze Kopitar and Dustin Brown based on Wednesday's practice lines, so perhaps that will spark him. It's worth noting though that Pearson does have 20 points this season despite his lack of goals, so the campaign hasn't been dreadful offensively.
