Jayson Megna notched two goals as the New York Rangers doubled up the New Jersey Devils 6-3 in a preseason game at Madison Square Garden Monday night.

Kevin Klein had three assists for the winners. Brian Gibbons contributed two assists and a goal to the Rangers' victory. Chris Kreider, Viktor Stalberg and Oscar Lindberg also scored goals for New York. Jordin Tootoo, Mike Sislo and Adam Larsson netted goals for the Devils. Antti Raanta, in his first start since being traded to the Rangers from the Chicago Blackhawks in June, had 11 saves. Magnus Hellberg turned aside 12 of 14 shots in relief. Cory Schneider made 10 saves on 12 shots for the Devils before being replaced by Yann Danis, who gave up four goals on 11 shots.
