William Karlsson has excelled after his switch back to center from the wing.
Karlsson started the season with the Golden Knights on the wing and moved back to center nine games ago. "I’ve been a center my whole life, so obviously I know without thinking where I’m going to be," Karlsson said. "When I was at the wing, sometimes I had to take an extra second just to see where I’m at and know what to do. Even though I think I got better the more games I played on the wing, of course I feel more comfortable up the middle." Karlsson has eight points in the nine games since the move and has 12 points in 16 games this season. He is worth a pickup in deeper leagues. Nov 12 - 8:45 AM

William Karlsson picked up a couple of goals, including one shorthanded in a 5-2 win over the Winnipeg Jets.

Karlsson found himself on a shorthanded breakaway with just over two minutes remaining in the second period before making a nice forehand and backhand move to tuck the puck in behind Hellebuyck to give the Golden Knights a 5-2 lead. Karlsson opened the season with zero goals in his first six games, but has now picked up five goals and 12 points in his last 12 games. He's been arguably the Golden Knights' best player and is definitely worth getting him into your lineup while he is hot. He has 12 total points in 16 games this season.

William Karlsson potted his second goal of the season, a power-play marker, in Tuesday's 4-2 victory against the Blackhawks.

The former second-round pick (No. 53 overall) in the 2011 NHL Entry Draft has pieced together a three-game point streak for the Golden Knights. He isn't a bad option for fantasy owners looking for scoring in deeper pools, especially if he continues to work on the power play.

William Karlsson scored the game-winning goal in a 3-2 overtime win against the St. Louis Blues.

The Vegas Golden Knights have acquired William Karlsson, David Clarkson, a 2017 first-round pick, and a 2019 second-round selection from the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Karlsson was the actual expansion draft pick and Clarkson was included so that the Blue Jackets could shed an expensive contract. For Vegas the main allure here is the picks, but Karlsson can contribute. He had six goals and 25 points in 81 games last season and he at the age of 24 he still has some room to grow.

William Karlsson moved up the depth chart on Sunday as he took over for the injured Alexander Wennberg.

Wennberg suffered what may be a concussion on Saturday and was unable to play on Sunday so Karlsson played alongside Oliver Bjorkstrand and Nick Foligno. The line was held off the scoresheet but it should give Karlsson, who has six goals and 24 points in 70 games, a bit of a boost in fantasy value.

The forward is more known for his defensive play, especially killing penalties but he picked up some power play time and quickly converted.
