Nikita Kucherov played alongside Steven Stamkos and Vladislav Namestnikov in Monday's 1-0 loss to Florida.

The Lightning have injuries to Ondrej Palat, Tyler Johnson, Cedric Paquette and Jonathan Drouin, which led to plenty of line juggling. Valtteri Filppula centered the second line between Alex Killorn and Ryan Callahan in Monday's loss.

Nikita Kucherov's goal and assist fueled the Lightning to a 4-1 win over Buffalo on Thursday night.

With just two points in his first 11 contests of the year, Kucherov has broken out with three goals, three assists and six points in his past four games. The 22-year-old appears back on track to produce around the 0.8 points-per-game pace that he managed last season.
Nov 5 - 10:14 PM

Nikita Kucherov scored a goal in Tampa Bay's 2-1 loss to the Detroit Red Wings.

The Lightning's high powered offense has been stuck in neutral recently. They've scored one goal or less in five of their last six contests. Kucherov is off to a disappointing start this season, as he has just four goals and six points in 14 games this season. His fantasy owners should remain patient with him.
Nov 3 - 10:46 PM

Nikita Kucherov recorded two assists for the Lightning in a 4-3 win over the Hurricanes.

He also added two penalty minutes and a plus-1 rating. Kucherov is off to a slow start. He now has five points in 13 games, with three of them coming in the last two. He has plenty of offensive upside, and will likely pick up his offensive contributions soon. This might be a good time to buy low on the Lightning forward.
Nov 1 - 7:52 PM

Nikita Kucherov picked up his third goal of the season in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Boston.

Kucherov showed exactly why he's so dangerous, that quick, precise release, and on the power play no less. He also led the team in shots with five in 18:35 of work and 4:26 spent with the man advantage. However he has just the three points through 12 games this season.
Nov 1 - 12:26 AM

Nikita Kucherov has one goal in six games this season.

The Lightning split up Kucherov, Ondrej Palat (one goal, one assist) and Tyler Johnson (four helpers) during Saturday's game against Buffalo. Coach Jon Cooper had them back together at Monday's practice but said, "they're not staying together all the time because they had a successful year. They are going to go through little slumps, and sometimes they need to get away from each other to see if something else works or to see how much they miss each other." The Triplets had sluggish starts last season as well before taking the NHL by storm. Stay patient and you should be rewarded.
Oct 20 - 10:58 AM

Nikita Kucherov (lower body) did not play Saturday night as a precaution.

There was no reason for the Lightning to rush him back in a meaningless preseason game. He was on for the morning skate, so that's a good sign. They open their season Oct. 8 against the Flyers. Kucherov had 28 goals and 64 points last season.
Oct 3 - 10:54 PM

Nikita Kucherov will likely play Saturday night against the Panthers in Tampa's preseason finale.

This is good news as Kucherov left Thursday's game with a lower-body injury. Kucherov told reporters he still has a little bit of pain but that the injury is not serious. Don't know why the Bolts would risk playing him in a meaningless exhibition game, but we're not running the Lightning are we?
Oct 3 - 12:15 PM

Nikita Kucherov scored early in Tampa Bay's 3-2 win over Dallas on Thursday night, but sustained a lower body injury on his second shift and did not return.

Bolts coach Jon Cooper said Kucherov might miss Saturday's preseason finale, but doesn't think he will sit out any time in the regular season. Consider the 22-year-old day-to-day.

Oct 1 - 10:55 PM

Nikita Kucherov scored two goals in Friday's 4-1 win over the Florida Panthers.

The goals were Kucherov's first two of the preseason. His goal at the 12:29 mark of the first period opened the scoring in the game and his second goal extended his team's lead to 4-0 in the second frame. The 22-year-old had a coming out party a season ago, where he scored 29 goals and 65 points in 82 games. Kucherov should be able to at least match those numbers in Tampa Bay's high-flying offense. Erik Condra and Matthew Peca also scored for the Lightning in the win.
Sep 25 - 10:19 PM

Nikita Kucherov is in the lineup for Game 6 Monday night when the Lightning look to avoid elimination in Chicago.

Head coach Jon Cooper had listed Kucherov as "probable" for the game during the teams press conferences earlier in the day and the news will hold up for Monday’s game. This is fantastic news for Lightning fans as the triplets line would look very different with Jonathan Drouin replacing Kucherov. Kucherov leads the team with 23 points in 25 games played this postseason and will undoubtedly be a huge factor in deciding whether the Lightning will play a Game 7 or not.
Jun 15 - 8:09 PM

Nikita Kucherov (undisclosed) is considered "probable" to play Monday night in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final, according to coach Jon Cooper.

He took part in the morning skate and it didn't look like anything was bothering him. Kucherov missed most of Game 5 after he collided with the goal post, but he appears to be OK to play.
Jun 15 - 1:10 PM

Nikita Kucherov (undisclosed) may play in Game 6 even if doesn't take part in Monday's morning skate.

"To be honest, I thought there was a chance he was coming back (Saturday) night, but it didn't work out," coach Jon Cooper said. "These two days will give him the rest he needs." Kucherov, who left Game 5 after he collided with the post, has been a force this postseason with 10 goals and 22 points in 25 games. The trio of Kucherov, Tyler Johnson and Ondrej Palat have combined for 31 of Tampa Bay's 65 postseason goals.
Jun 15 - 10:41 AM

Nikita Kucherov is feeling "considerably better" according to head coach Jon Cooper.

Kucherov left Saturday's game after colliding with the post and he did not return to the game. Cooper added that Kucherov is a possibility for Game 6. He's an important part of the Lightning's offense.
