He now has 28 goals and 68 points in 54 games this season. Despite having just one goal in his last 12 games, he's still managed to pick up seven points in his last six games. Feb 8 - 10:42 PM

Nikita Kucherov's goalless drought has reached 11 straight games.

Kucherov is clearly frustrated that he hasn't found the back of the net since Jan. 7. "This is not fun, definitely," he said. "I wish I would score. I think I'm in that kind of period where whatever I do doesn't work." Coach Jon Cooper has encouraged Kucherov to shoot more often, but the Lightning winger said he won't fire away if he can set up a teammate. He has contributed seven assists during his goal slump. Kucherov had six shots on target against Edmonton his last outing and he will look to get the monkey off his back Thursday versus Vancouver.

Nikita Kucherov hasn't scored a goal in nine consecutive matches.

This marks Kucherov's longest drought since he was held off the board in 13 straight games in 2015. He hasn't earned a point in six outings during his current nine-game goalless skid. "Right now, if I was going to say there's one thing, he's got to shoot the puck more, because sometimes these players, if it’s not going in for them, they think, 'Let me move it on' to another player," coach Jon Cooper said. Kucherov has been great this year with 27 goals and 64 points in 51 games. It won't be long before he is back on track.
