He took part in Tuesday's practice and it sounds like he will return against Montreal after missing the past six games with a lower-body injury. We will let you know if/when we get confirmation.

Nikita Kucherov (lower body) took part in the morning skate Thursday.

It was Kucherov's first team skate since Dec. 14. He appears to be heading in the right direction, but it wouldn't be surprising if he sat for a sixth straight game Friday night. The Lightning will be off until Dec. 28 for the holiday break
