Nikita Kucherov downplayed his move last week to a line with Ondrej Palat and Brayden Point.

"I didn't feel anything. You've got to play with everyone, and (Cooper) decided to put us with different lines," he said. "It doesn't matter who you play with." Kucherov had gone six straight games without a goal going into Saturday's game against San Jose. He scored twice in a 5-2 win over the Sharks to end that skid. He'll be able to produce regardless of who he plays with, so you shouldn't be worried about him. Kucherov will also probably be back with Stamkos at some point.

Kucherov is now tied for the league lead in goals with Alexander Ovechkin. His goals were his first since Nov. 16. The talented forward now has 38 points in 26 games this season.

Kucherov assisted on Dan Girardi's first goal of the season on Tuesday, giving him 17 goals and 18 assists on the season. He only has two helpers in his last five outings, but don't that shouldn't discourage you. Kucherov has been an outstanding fantasy performer this year.
