Nikita Kucherov registered a pair of goals Tuesday night, but it wasn't nearly enough as the Lightning were dumped by the Rangers by a score of 7-3.
Kucherov has now tallied nine times in the postseason, placing him in a tie for second in the NHL with Patrick Kane and Corey Perry. Nikita Kucherov ripped a wrister past Henrik Lundqvist to beat the Rangers 6-5 in overtime time in Wednesday's Game 3.

The goal was Kucherov's second point of the night, his first came off an assist late in the third period giving Tampa a brief 5-4 lead. Kucherov now has points in three of his last four games, including two straight, totaling three goals and eight points during that span. With seven goals and 16 points this postseason, Kucherov sits tied with Corey Perry in postseason points.

Nikita Kucherov tallied twice for the Lightning on Tuesday night as they eliminated Montreal from postseason contention with a 4-1 victory.

Kucherov has now recorded six markers in 13 postseason contests to bring him just two behind league and team leader Tyler Johnson. Ondrej Palat also chipped in a goal and an assist in the dominant win while Steve Stamkos also buried his third of the playoffs.

Nikita Kucherov tallied his fourth goal of the playoffs during Thursday's 6-2 Game Four loss to Montreal, ending Carey Price's shutout.

Kucherov now stands tied with Steven Stamkos in points with eight through 11 games, but unlike the captain, Kucherov's points are spread evenly with four goals and assists. The tally was also recorded on the power play, giving him a trio of goals and four points with the man advantage thus far in the playoffs.

Nikita Kucherov scored the game-winning goal in the second period of overtime in Friday's 2-1 win over Montreal.

Habs rookie defenseman Greg Pateryn coughed up the puck to Valtteri Filppula, who then set up Kucherov for the winner. The 21-year-old was very dangerous in the overtime periods, as he also had a goal waved off in the first of the two extra frames. This is a huge win for the Lightning after they came into this match just two days removed from a game seven win against Detroit (Montreal had five days off). Kucherov's goal was his first of the playoffs. He now has five points in eight games this postseason. The Lightning lead the best-of-seven series 1-0.

Nikita Kucherov contributed three assists in Monday's 5-2 win over Detroit to help the Lightning force Game 7.

He was also the victim of a questionable hit from Detroit's Niklas Kronwall, which will probably be looked at by the NHL Department of Player Safety. Kucherov stayed in the game after taking an apparent leaping forearm to the chin and he didn't complain about the hit after the match. "It's a hit. He made a hit. I'm not going to cry now," he said. "It's part of the game. That's why we play here."

Nikita Kucherov got the only goal for the Lightning in their 2-1 loss to the Jets on Saturday night.

For two periods, the game was tied. Then Kucherov beat Ondrej Pavelec at 4:13 of the third period on the Lightning’s 14th shot of the game, via a wrist shot. He also received 15 penalty minutes because of a five-minute boarding call and a game misconduct. He opened the scoring just 4:25 into the match when he was left alone and scored from the slot. The 21-year-old forward is having a tremendous sophomore season with 55 points in 66 games.

Tampa Bay's "other line", made up of Kucherov, Tyler Johnson and Ondrej Palat has been a juggernaut over the past few months and Kucherov specifically has scored in four straight contests. With 21 goals on the year he has an outside shot at his first career 30-goal campaign. Brett Connolly also buried his 10th of the season in the loss.
