He has potted one goal in 11 games this season, while displaying some speed. "It's just keep playing the way I'm playing now," said Carrier. "Coach is liking what I'm doing, so I'm just trying to bring that to their line tonight." Nov 29 - 3:58 PM

William Carrier scored his first NHL goal in the Sabres' 2-1 shootout win over the Penguins Saturday night.

It was Carrier's first point in eight NHL games. Carrier had some success in the QMJHL but really hasn't established himself much at Rochester of the AHL over the last three seasons. He is not a fantasy asset.

The St. Louis Blues have drafted forward William Carrier.

Carrier has the potential to be a pretty reliable power forward at the NHL level. He’s a good skater despite his large frame, and is very difficult to knock off the puck. Carrier isn’t a finesse player, as he’d rather barrel through defenders than dangle around them. His physicality makes him very effective on the forecheck and in the cycle game. He suffered a series of ankle injuries, which forced him to miss half the 2012-13 campaign, but he produced at a top level before he was hurt with 42 points in 34 games. With some development, he projects as a player with top-six potential.

William Carrier assisted on four of Cap Breton's five goals Friday night in its 5-4 win over Saint John.

Carrier is considered one of the better prospects entering the 2013 draft, and each and every night he's proving why. In 23 games, the 18-year-old has 39 points, already surpassing the halfway point from his QMJHL career-high of 70 last season.

William Carrier enjoyed a three-point night in Cape Breton's 5-3 win over P.E.I. on Wednesday night.

The 2013 draft prospect had a goal and two assists. Through 22 games, he has 14 goals and 21 assists, good for fifth in the QMJHL scoring race. He's halfway through last season's point totals in one third of the games played.

William Carrier had a hand in both goals for Cape Breton in its 6-2 loss to Saint John on Friday night.

Carrier scored the team's first goal, then assisted on the next. The highly-regarded 2013 draft prospect has 28 points in 18 games this year and continues to see his draft stock rise.

William Carrier had an assist on the only goal for Cape Breton in its 4-1 loss to Drummondville on Friday night.

The winger is a highly-regarded prospect for the upcoming draft. Not even 18 years old yet, Carrier already has a season in the QMJHL with 70 points and he's well on his way to reaching that with 24 in 15 games this year.
