Aleksander Barkov scored his fourth goal of the season in Thursday night's 4-2 loss to Colorado.
Barkov now has 10 points through 31 games this season, obviously not numbers that are going to put him on your fantasy radar at this time. But when you consider when those points have come, you might want to think again. Barkov has five of those points in his past six games, so keep an eye on the 19-year-old just in case he stays consistent. Jan 16 - 12:23 AM

He has missed the past two games due to the flu. The 19-year-old forward has not had a productive sophomore season, but he has recorded four of his eight points in his last seven outings. Barkov was playing well with a red hot Jonathan Huberdeau and Brad Boyes prior to getting sick.

Aleksander Barkov and Scottie Upshall will return to Florida's lineup on Tuesday night versus Washington.

It's been a trying season for both Barkov and Upshall who have scored only four and seven points, respectively thus far. Barkov will center Florida's third line with Jussi Jokinen and Jimmy Hayes, while Upshall will skate on their fourth line to the left of Derek McKenzie and Tomas Kopecky.
