Elias Lindholm recorded an assist in Carolina's 5-0 victory against Chicago Tuesday night.

Lindholm has seven goals and 23 points in 51 games this season. That puts him on pace for 36 points, which would be a slight drop from his sophomore point total. It wouldn't surprise of if he ends up beating his 39-point mark from 2014-15 by a small amount, but this season hasn't turned into the meaningful step forward that we were hoping for as far as his offensive production is concerned.

Elias Lindholm recorded three assists in a 3-2 overtime win over Pittsburgh Tuesday night.

Lindholm is on a three-game point streak and has recorded two goals and four assists over that span. That's brought him up to six goals and 21 points in 44 contests in 2015-16.

Elias Lindholm scored two goals in Friday's 4-1 win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Lindholm scored the go-ahead goal at the 14:35 mark of the second period, and he added an empty netter with just over a minute remaining in the game. Jordan Staal and Chris Terry also scored for the 'Canes. Lindholm put an end to his 12-game goalless drought on Friday night. He has six goals and 17 points in 42 games in '15-16.

Elias Lindholm was seen warming up against New Jersey on Tuesday, and it looks like he'll be playing.

In 36 games thus far for Lindholm he's produced just 13 points with 46 hits, which unfortunately ought to relegate him to the waiver wire.

Elias Lindholm (undisclosed) is expected to be a game-time decision on Tuesday night against New Jersey.

He didn't practice on Monday and coach Bill Peters didn't provide a reason for Lindholm's absence. He has posted four goals and 13 points in 36 games this campaign.

Elias Lindholm assisted on three goals Saturday including Victor Rask's overtime winner.

Lindholm got off to a horrible start with only two goals in his first 20 games but he has been a stud ever since with two goals and 11 points in his last 10 contests. He was drafted fifth overall in 2013 so it's obvious that the pedigree is there. He should be a consideration in all formats of fantasy hockey, especially dynasty leagues.

Elias Lindholm scored on the power play Friday.

It was Lindholm's fourth goal of the season and second with the man-advantage. Lindholm has 10 points this season in 29 games but was off to a horrible start with only two goals in his first 20 games. He has two goals and all six assists in his last 10 games so we recommend the fifth overall pick in the 2013 Draft very highly at this time as he has a bright future in the NHL.

Elias Lindholm had an assist in a 4-3 loss Monday night.

That extended Lindholm's point streak to five games. He hadn't done much in 2015-16 prior to this hot streak, so he still has a modest seven points in 24 contests.

Coach Bill Peters switched his lines around in practice Saturday and Elias Lindholm found himself back with Eric Staal.

They were joined on the line by Chris Terry while Kris Versteeg moved down and played alongside Victor Rask and Jeff Skinner. Lindholm has struggled mightily offensively this season as the third year 20-year-old has only two goals and nary an assist in 19 games. He had 39 points last season so he could be ready to break out.

Elias Lindholm had four penalty minutes on Friday including a rare one which led to the Maple Leafs tying goal.

Lindholm was sent to the penalty box late in the third period for handling the puck with his glove, a no-no in the NHL. Nazem Kadri took advantage by scoring on the power play to send the game into overtime. Lindholm had 17 goals and 39 points in 81 games last season but the third year player is slumping badly this season with only two goals and no assists in 19 games. The 20-year-old has plenty of upside and do not give up on his potential as eventually will figure things out this season.

Elias Lindholm found the back of the net for only the second time this season.

Lindholm has only two points in 17 games this season, a big disappointment as poolies thought the fifth overall pick in 2013 would have a breakout season. Do not lose faith in Lindholm as the center should be a good one in the foreseeable future.

Elias Lindholm (lower body) is considered doubtful for Sunday's game with Tampa Bay.

Lindholm was injured on Friday against the Avs and was unable to practice on Saturday. Coach Bill Peters said that the chances of Lindholm playing Sunday were less than 50 percent. He has only one goal in 11 games this season so his fantasy value is at an all-time low.
