Tim Bozon, who was hospitalized earlier this year with Neisseria Meningitis, will play in an Under-23 tournament that starts on July 31.

Tim Bozon was back on the ice Thursday after battling a long bout of acute bacterial meningitis.

He was released from the hospital two months ago after he became sick in March of last year and he spent part of his time in a medically induced coma. The Montreal Canadiens prospect recorded 33 goals and 69 points in 63 games last season split between WHL clubs Kamloops and Kootenay.

Bozon will still need months to recover after coming out of a medically induced coma. "We are optimistic he will make a full recovery but it will take some time before that possibility could be realized," Dr. Gary Hunter said. Bozon is a Montreal Canadiens prospect that was playing for WHL Kootenay.

Tim Bozon (meningitis) is now in stable condition.

Bozon has been in Royal University Hospital since March 1. He needed to be put into a medically induced coma at one point. He is a Montreal Canadiens prospect and was playing for the WHL Kootenay Ice.

Our prayers are with Bozon who went to hospital on Saturday.He had 36 goals and 91 points in 69 games last season and has 30 goals and 62 points in 50 games this season. His parents have arrived in Saskatoon from Europe.

Montreal has inked prospect Tim Bozon to a three-year contract.

He amassed 36 goals and 91 points in 69 games with the WHL's Kamloops Blazers in 2012-13. He represented Team France at the IIHF World Championship as well, where he had one assist in five games. Bozon was chosen in the third round, 64th overall, in the 2012 draft.

Montreal prospect Tim Bozon scored a goal and registered an assist in Kamploops' 7-6 overtime loss to Medicine Hat in WHL action Saturday night.

Bozon now has 49 points in 38 games this season for the Blazers and sits 5th in overall WHL scoring. He certainly is enjoying playing on the power play with Colin Smith and JC Lipon.

Tim Bozon has followed up his strong rookie season in the WHL with a very successful start to the 2012-13 campaign.

He recorded 36 goals and 71 points in 71 games with Kamloops last year and has already notched 18 markers and 45 points after 35 contests this season. "There's never been any question about his offensive skills, but he's learning to be more of an all-around player," said Blazers coach Guy Charron. "He has determination, and if he continues to improve I think he can be a good NHL player. I don't want to say that he'll be another Luc Robitaille, but his game is similar." Montreal selected Bozon in the third round of the 2012 draft.
