Tanner Richard will make his NHL debut on Sunday against Ottawa.

Richard leads AHL Syracuse with 11 assists, but is without a goal through 23 games. However it's worth noting that the 22-year-old has 15 goals and 69 points in 168 games with the Crunch over the last four seasons. He'll skate to the left of Mike Angelidis and Mike Blunden on Tampa's fourth line.

The Tampa Bay Lightning have summoned Tanner Richard up from AHL Syracuse.

Richard leads Syracuse with 11 assists this season, however the 22-year-old winger is without a goal through 23 games. This appears to be his way as Richard has 15 goals and 69 points in 168 games spread over parts of four seasons with the Crunch.

Tanner Richard has inked a three-year, entry-level deal with the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Richard had 64 points and 94 penalty minutes in 52 OHL games with the Guelph Storm this season. He was taken by the Lightning in the third round of the 2012 NHL Entry Draft.

Tanner Richard registered an assist in Switzerland's 5-4 shootout loss to Finland at the World Junior Championships in Ufa Russia on Sunday.

It was the Tampa prospect's fourth helper in three games. With the loss, the Swiss fall to 1-2, will not advance out of Group A to the next round and could be subject to relegation.

Tanner Richard had three assists in Switzerland's 7-2 win over Latvia in the 2013 World Junior Championship.

Latvia also suffered a 5-1 loss to Finland and will almost certainly end up in the Relegation round. Switzerland will have a key game against Sweden on Friday.
