The Maple Leafs are hoping to have Connor Carrick (upper body) back on their blue line on Monday.

He's missed a month with the ailment, but may get the go-ahead if he has a good workout on Monday morning ahead of the match. "Carrick gets the puck moving, he doesn’t play a lot in his own zone, he’s mean, he likes to cross check people," Babcock said. Through 55 games this season the youngster has posted seven points along with 47 PIMs, 56 hits and 70 blocks.

He was injured in Tuesday's game against Winnipeg. Coach Mike Babcock feels the term "day-to-day" means about 10 days, so that could keep Carrick out for the next five games.
