Sam Carchidi of the Philadelphia Inquirer and Daily News is speculating that Anthony Stolarz could be left unprotected by the Flyers in the expansion draft.
The Vegas Golden Knights have to take three goalies and if Stolarz is available, they may want a youngster who has some upside. He was 2-0-0 in his brief stint with the Flyers with a 1.79 GAA and a .938 save percentage. While not a big sample size, Stolarz was impressive between the pipes when given the chance. Anthony Stolarz has been returned to the minors.

Philadelphia has activated Michal Neuvirth from injured reserve, so Stolarz will resume playing in the AHL. Stolarz has posted two wins in first two NHL starts this season. He has a 2-0-0 record with a 1.79 GAA, a .938 save percentage and one shutout in four appearances with the Flyers this year.

Rookie Anthony Stolarz made 28 saves on Sunday, and the red-hot Flyers needed every one of them to take down the Detroit Red Wings 1-0 in overtime.

In his second career start, Stolarz backstopped Philadelphia to their ninth straight victory on the second half of a back-to-back to stay undefeated. The 22-year-old New Jersey native is now 2-0 with a 1.46 goals against average and .950 save percentage thanks to Brayden Schenn's goal midway through overtime.

Anthony Stolarz will get his second career start on Sunday against Detroit.

Anthony Stolarz said that Steve Mason has been his mentor.

Finer words could not have been spoken by the latest Flyer to win a game in net. Stolarz got his first start of his career Sunday and went to chat with Mason on the bench during the timeouts. "Mason has been a great support for me the past couple weeks," Stolarz said. "Really helping me with things. Obviously being a big goalie, like me, I am able to watch him and kind of pick up a few things from him. He’s been a big mentor for me." Stolarz played well enough that he is likely to get a start this week as the Flyers play four games with three coming in four nights.

Anthony Stolarz made 29 saves and most importantly, earned the victory in his NHL debut on Sunday night.

The 22-year-old allowed three goals in a 5-3 victory over Calgary. The Edison, N.J. native has had a solid start to the season with the AHL Phantoms, and could see some more time with the big club should he continue to play well. He is now 1-0 with a 3.00 goals against average and a .906 save percentage.

Anthony Stolarz will make his NHL debut, and a bit of history, on Sunday against Calgary.

Stolarz will become the first New Jersey-born goalie to play in the NHL, which is a bit astounding to say the least. The 22-year-old could have a lot riding on his performance as he's well-situated to usurp both Michal Neuvirth and Steve Mason as the Flyers' primary netminder before season's end. He's 6-2 with 19 goals against and a .927 save percentage in AHL Lehigh Valley this season, as his star continues to grow in brightness.

Anthony Stolarz could make his NHL debut on Wednesday.

The Flyers play the back-half of back-to-back games and it is also the middle game of a three games in four nights scenario. It makes sense that Philadelphia will give this opportunity to Stolarz as Steve Mason has not exactly been lighting the world on fire.

Flyers coach Dave Hakstol said Anthony Stolarz will play at some point during his latest recall.

There have been times where Stolarz hasn't seen any game action during a call up, but with Michal Neuvirth on the shelf for four-to-six weeks, that won't be the case. "Yeah I think you will," said Hakstol. "I think it's a great opportunity for Anthony to continue what he's done over the last year and couple months down in the American Hockey League. He's proven that he's ready to be here. We'll take it day-by-day and decide when that start is, but we'll have him as a starter at some point in time through this stretch." The 22-year-old has a 6-2-0 record with a 2.39 goals-against-average and a .927 save percentage in the AHL this season.

The Philadelphia Flyers have recalled goaltender Anthony Stolarz from the minors.

This move was expected as Michal Neuvirth will be lost to the Flyers for the next four-six weeks with a lower body injury. Look for Stolarz to finally make his NHL debut at some point in the next two weeks. Grab him in deeper pools if you need goaltending help.

It isn't official yet, but expect Anthony Stolarz to be recalled to replace the injured Michal Neuvirth.

Neuvirth will be lost to the Flyers for the next four-to-six weeks with a lower body injury. The 22-year-old Stolarz has posted a sterling 6-2 record in AHL Lehigh Valley with a .927 save percentage and 2.39 GAA.

If Philadelphia's goaltending problems continue then the team could give Anthony Stolarz a shot at some NHL action.

He owns a 5-2-0 record for Lehigh Valley of the AHL to go with a 2.44 goals-against average and a .928 save percentage. Steve Mason and Michal Neuvirth have not looked good early into the year, but they will be given some more time to turn it around. Both of them are playing on expiring contracts, which could give a Stolarz a chance at some point.

Anthony Stolarz has been called up by the Philadelphia Flyers.

This doesn't change the Flyers plan to have Stolarz begin the season in the minors. Steve Mason's fiancé is scheduled to give birth to their first child, so the Flyers just need another goalie around for now.

Anthony Stolarz has been reassigned to AHL Lehigh Valley.

Stolarz posted a 2.60 GAA and .916 save percentage in 47 AHL contests in 2015-16. His remove from the training camp roster was expected, but if Steve Mason or Michal Neuvirth suffer an injury during the campaign then Stolarz might be back with Philadelphia.

Anthony Stolarz has been sent to the minors.

Philadelphia Flyers GM Ron Hextall fought against the idea that Ray Emery's tryout reflected the level of trust they had in Stolarz, but in the end Emery is serving as the backup for now while Stolarz didn't play in a single NHL game. Stolarz has a 2.59 GAA and .916 save percentage in 42 AHL contests.
