Patrick Wey has decided to retire because he has been unable to recover from "back-to-back concussions."
Wey was selected 115th overall in 2009 by Washington, and saw just nine games in the NHL with three points and one fight. That fight was with then-Nashville Predator Rich Clune on March 30th, 2014. The next concussion came from a high hit by Jay Rosehill seven months later. Still just 24-years-old, Wey will "pursue educational interests." Tue, Jun 30, 2015 06:27:00 PM
