The injury forced him to miss Game 1. Haula has been one of Minnesota's most productive players under John Torchetti. The 25-year-old finished the regular season with 14 goals and 34 points in 76 games. He's expected to center a line with Nino Niederreiter and Jason Pominville on his wings.

Erik Haula's status for Game 2 against Dallas will be determined during the pre-game skate.

He seems ready to go now that he has recovered from a lower-body injury but Wild coach John Torchetti will wait until he sees Haula in the pre-game warmup before making a decision to play him.

Erik Haula is expected to return for Game 2 on Saturday.

Haula leads the team with 21 points in 27 games since John Torchetti took over. "It’s frustrating to watch up top," Haula told Michael Russo. "You want to be out there and helping your teammates and you can’t. I’m ready to go. I’m excited." Considering they'll be without Zach Parise and likely Thomas Vanek as well, they Wild could use all the added offense they can get.
