Erik Haula notched one goal and one assist in Vegas' 7-0 win over San Jose in Game 1 on Thursday night.
"We feel good about our game. We can't have a letdown next game," said Haula. "We're going to have to play the same way, play hard, play fast and physical and keep doing the right things." He picked up one goal in four games in the first round of the postseason. Apr 27 - 11:10 AM

Erik Haula is expected to stay with Alex Tuch and James Neal when the second round of the playoffs begins.

The combination was formed late in the season when David Perron was injured and they remained together when Perron returned to the lineup. Haula scored one goal in four games against Los Angeles in the opening round.
Apr 25 - 10:34 AM

Erik Haula avoided facing disciplinary action from the NHL for his incident with Anze Kopitar in Game 3.

Haula appeared to retaliate to a cross-check by hitting Kopitar in the face with the butt-end of his stick. He was not penalized on the play. "He landed on my back in front of the net; I tried to get up and I had no intention of doing what the replay showed," Haula said Monday. "I was holding my stick like I normally would. I don’t think the stick hit him. If the butt end of my stick had hit him, he would have had a mark on his face or something."
Apr 17 - 10:23 AM

Erik Haula could face a disciplinary hearing after punching Kings forward Anze Kopitar during Game 3 on Sunday night.

Haula took a cross-check from Kopitar and responded by throwing a punch towards the Kings' captain that appeared to connect the butt-end of his stick with Kopitar's face. No penalty was called on the play and we wouldn't be surprised to see Haula get a call from the league. Vegas might be without their Game 2 OT hero for Game 4 on Tuesday.
Apr 16 - 1:19 AM

Erik Haula scored the game-winning goal in double overtime in a 2-1 win over the Los Angeles Kings in Game 2 of their playoff matchup.

James Neal made a great play in the neutral zone to buy some time before dropping the puck for Haula who jammed the puck five-hole on Jonathan Quick for the winner. It's crazy to think that Haula was the consolation prize for Vegas from the Wild for the Golden Knights not selecting one of Minnesota's defensemen. The 27-year-old forward picked up 55 points in 76 games during the regular-season and his 14th career post-season point tonight. Alex Tuch also scored in the win.
Apr 14 - 2:25 AM

Erik Haula was back at practice on Wednesday after he didn't play Tuesday night.

It seems like Haula will return to the lineup against Edmonton on Thursday night. The morning skate should confirm his status.
Apr 5 - 11:30 AM

Erik Haula will not suit up in Tuesday's match against Vancouver.

Haula didn't take part in the team's optional morning skate, but he could just be sitting to get some rest down the stretch. Haula has 29 goals and 55 points in 74 matches this year.
Apr 3 - 3:32 PM

Erik Haula picked up a power-play goal in Wednesday's 3-2 home loss against the Coyotes.

Haula is now up to 29 goals with 54 points in his initial season with the Golden Knights. He entered 2017-18 with a total of 42 goals and 89 points across his first four NHL campaigns, so it been a nice breakout season for the 27-year-old Finn. He has four or more goals in each of his past five months to contribute steadily for his growing throng of fantasy owners.
Mar 29 - 2:03 AM

Erik Haula scored a goal and picked up an assist in a 4-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild.

It's another tough loss for the Vegas and speaking to the media after the game, Haula mentioned how the players had a meeting at the conclusion of the game and stressed the importance of winning their next game on Sunday against the Calgary Flames. The 26-year-old forward has 28 goals and 51 points in 66 games so far this season.
Mar 17 - 1:53 AM

Erik Haula picked up two power-play goals in Wednesday's 8-3 loss against the Devils.

Haula found the back of the net twice, which is certainly nice, but his minus-5 rating nullified that for many fantasy owners in traditional pools. He has managed three goals over the past two outings, and four goals across the past five contests. Like a lot of Golden Knights players, Haula is having a career year. He has posted 27 goals with 49 points, besting his previous career high by 15 points.
Mar 15 - 2:51 AM

Erik Haula found the back of the net in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to Columbus Blue Jackets.

Haula's tally at the 1:30 mark of the second period tied the game at one, but the Blue Jackets managed to score the next three goals. The Golden Knights forward finished the night with a plus- 1 rating and a game-high six shots on goal in 19:11 of ice time. The 26-year-old has 24 goals and 46 points in 61 games this season. David Perron and Alex Tuch registered the assists on the Golden Knights' only goal.
Mar 6 - 10:29 PM

Erik Haula opened the scoring early in the first period of Monday's game at Los Angeles.

Haula also delivered a pair of hits while winning 10 of his 18 faceoffs. The Finnish center has managed eight goals with eight assists across the past 18 outings dating back to Jan. 18. He has emerged as a solid depth option across most fantasy formats. He'll look to stay hot Tuesday in the second end of the home-and-home with the Kings.
Feb 27 - 1:57 AM

Erik Haula (flu) is good to return on Thursday.

Haula missed Tuesday's game due to the illness. He has 21 goals and 40 points in 51 games in 2017-18.
Feb 15 - 5:31 PM

Erik Haula was a late scratch Tuesday night because of the flu.

Oscar Lindberg filled in for Haul alongside David Perron and James Neal in a 5-2 win over Chicago. Consider Haula day-to-day for now.
Feb 14 - 11:40 AM

Erik Haula scored a goal and an assist in Friday's 5-2 loss to the Minnesota Wild.

He's now riding an eight-game point streak. Both of Haula's points came on the man-advantage. He got the Golden Knights on the board at the 6:19 mark of the second frame to cut his team's deficit to 3-1 at the time. He then helped set up Nate Schmidt's third-period tally. Haula has 20 goals and 39 points in 47 games.
