Erik Haula scored a sweet shorthanded goal during Thursday's 3-0 win over LA.
After Mikko Koivu won the defensive zone draw, Ryan Suter managed to poke the puck past a pair of Kings to send Koivu and Haula racing down the ice on a two-on-one. The Captain's pass was as true as Haula's shot, which gave Minnesota their commanding 3-0 lead. The goal was Haula's second shorty of the season, and third career. But he has just four goals on the season. Jan 22 - 1:33 AM

Erik Haula registered an assist in Wednesday's 3-1 loss to Anaheim.

He had the lone helper on Jarret Stoll's second goal of the season. The marker opened the scoring, but the Ducks scored the next three to take the victory. Haula has generated just three goals and nine points in 40 games this year.
Jan 21 - 9:13 AM

Erik Haula and Niklas Backstrom will be scratched from Saturday's match with Nashville.

The Wild are going with just 11 forwards and seven defenders tonight, which makes Haula the oddman out as he's produced just eight points and not much else through 39 games this season.
Jan 16 - 7:40 PM

Erik Haula will draw in to the lineup for Tuesday's match with Columbus.

Unfortunately, Haula isn't much of a fantasy asset. He's posted just six points with 19 hits and blocks through 33 games so far.
Jan 5 - 7:04 PM

Erik Haula will be scratched for Sunday's match with Florida.

Haula is still dealing with an undisclosed injury suffered after being checked by Ryan Reaves of St. Louis on Thursday. With just six points and little else to show for his efforts through 33 games however, he doesn't provide much fantasy value anyway.
Jan 3 - 4:48 PM

Erik Haula is considered questionable for Saturday night's game against Tampa.

He is sore after being tossed around by Ryan Reaves in Thursday's contest. That said, Haula did participate in Saturday morning's scrimmage. Check back with closer to game time for updates on Haula's status.
Jan 2 - 12:12 PM

With a goal and an assist during Thursday's 3-1 win over St. Louis, Erik Haula raised his goal and point total by 33%.

Yep that's right, he's all the way up to three goals and six points this season. All kidding aside, Haula was expected to help provide quality scoring depth and he simply hasn't come through. But with 35 points in 150 career games, perhaps it's time we readjust expectations.

Erik Haula will draw back into the lineup Tuesday night.

He has been a healthy scratch for the last three games. Chris Porter will be in the press box instead.
Tue, Dec 22, 2015 12:26:00 PM

Erik Haula is a healthy scratch in Monday's game against Dallas.

The 24-year-old has played in 28 games this season, but this will be his third straight contests as a healthy scratch. Goalie Niklas Backstrom and defenseman Mike Reilly will also sit against the Stars.
Mon, Dec 21, 2015 08:21:00 PM

Erik Haula and Niklas Backstrom will each be scratched against Nashville on Saturday night.

Through 28 games this season Haula has not come through with the depth production Minnesota was expecting from him. He has but four points, eight PIMs, 15 hits, and 17 blocks. Which simply isn't enough to warrant a spot even in the deepest of pools.
Sat, Dec 19, 2015 07:27:00 PM

Erik Haula is expected to be a healthy scratch in Thursday's game against the New York Rangers.

With Jarret Stoll coming into the lineup the Wild had to sit someone else out. The 28-year-old has two goals and four points in 28 games this season. Niklas Backstrom and Tyson Strachan will also watch from the press box.

Erik Haula will be a healthy scratch on Thursday.

Haula has two goals and four points in 28 contests in 2015-16. He's being taken out of the lineup to make room for Jarret Stoll to make his Wild debut.
Thu, Dec 17, 2015 12:13:00 PM

Erik Haula (illness) will rejoin the Wild in Boston.

He is expected to play Thursday after missing Tuesday's match against Pittsburgh because he wasn't feeling well. Haula has two goals and two assists in 16 games this year.
Wed, Nov 18, 2015 02:13:00 PM

Erik Haula didn't skate Tuesday morning because he is feeling under the weather.

He will fly to Boston for Thursday's game if he feels better, so it doesn't sound like he will be able to play Tuesday night against Pittsburgh.
Tue, Nov 17, 2015 12:03:00 PM

Erik Haula picked up his first goal of the season in Saturday's 3-2 overtime loss to St. Louis.

Haula is now on a two game point streak, but they're the only points of his season (two) through 11 games thus far. Haula has only 31 points in 129 career games, so we wouldn't count on his streak lasting much longer.
