Seth Helgeson was the only RFA New Jersey Devil not to file for salary arbitration on Sunday.

No specific reasoning was given, but it appears safe to presume that both he and the Devils expect to work out a new deal. Last season the 24-year-old defenseman saw his first 22 games of NHL action, scoring just two assists with 18 PIMs and blocks, and 42 hits. He made just $595K with the Devils as well, so a modest raise is about all that can be expected.
