Expect Dylan DeMelo to be a healthy scratch in Game 6 of the Stanley Cup Final on Sunday night.

DeMelo hasn't played in any of San Jose's playoff games this postseason. Micheal Haley will also watch the game from the press box. The Sharks are one loss away from being eliminated from the Stanley Cup Final, but just one win away from forcing Game 7 in Pittsburgh on Wednesday night.

The 23-year-old hasn't played in a single playoff game since the start of the postseason. Unless an injury strikes, he probably won't see any game action. Micheal Haley, Ryan Carpenter, Mirco Mueller, Matt Tennyson, Nikolay Goldobin, Barclay Goodrow and Aaron Dell will also watch from the press box.

The 23-year-old played in 45 games with the Sharks during the regular season, but he's yet to suit up for them in the playoffs. DeMelo was listed as a healthy scratch on Monday, but was added to the AHL's transaction page as a call up on Tuesday. He has skated in 33 games with the Sharks this season and he has contributed four points. In 13 matches with the AHL's San Jose Barracuda, DeMelo has five assists.

San Jose sent DeMelo to the minors on Monday, but that obviously proved to be a short stint. He has two goals and four points in 33 contests with the Sharks in 2015-16.

The 22-year-old defender has put up just four points and 28 hits in 33 games with the Sharks this season. Not exactly fantasy worthy, but a nice start to anyone's young NHL career.

Dylan DeMelo picked up his second career goal during Thursday's 6-5 shootout loss to Calgary.

His first goal came recently on Jan. 26th, so while this likely isn't a sign of big things to come it's nice to see the rookie DeMelo progressing as he's scored three of his four points over the last month.
