The San Jose Sharks like what they've seen from prospect Dylan DeMelo.
DeMelo was recalled from the AHL last season, but he didn't suit up in an NHL game. "I think he looks really good," Barracuda coach Roy Sommer said at development camp in July. "This is his year. I think he’s going to come to camp and make a big splash. He’s a guy that you’re not going to fall in love with because he doesn’t wow you with anything, but he’s as steady as you’re going to get." The 22-year-old had five goals and 22 points in 65 AHL games last season. Even if he does crack San Jose's opening day lineup, he isn't likely to put up a ton of points. Aug 8 - 9:38 AM
